What a super place to stay. We were booked in for 3 nights, so 4 days on the Island, then ferry to Rhodes. We were glad we accepted the offer of a transfer from the airport, we doubt we would have found it, Twelve Euros each & worth every one. We were greeted by the "bell boy" who took our...

We loved our stay here! The staff are very attentive and informative, please listen to their restaurant recommendations as they are spot on! The setting is authentic and has rustic charm, the rooms are spotless and full of character. The location is perfect, close to Fira town but in a quiet and relaxing setting. The breakfast was one of our...

We were very delighted to stay at Lava Suites for one night before heading to the Maldives. Prior to staying here, we spent 5 nights in Firostefani - and were happy to roll our luggage to Lava. This wasn't too hard as we were going downhill. But we would strongly advise those coming from the airport to organise direct transfers...

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights and we're both extremely impressed with the hotel and all it had to offer. Located at the top end of Fira, it has excellent views as long as you don't mind climbing the steps to reach it. On arrival we were met and our luggage taken down for us, thankfully!! We...

My husband and I finally arrived at Lava at 1am after a long flight delay and some confusion over who was meeting us to take us to the hotel which resulted in feeling tired and a little irritated. As an apology for the misunderstanding we were given a bottle of wine and some fresh fruit which was a lovely touch....

This is located on the Fira caldera with amazing views down to the ocean and the volcano. Great breakfast served on the upper balcony, small pool to cool off in, really friendly and helpful staff. Close enough to be convenient and far enough away from the main part of town to provide some serenity when the cruise boats come in.

I can't say enough wonderful things about the location and the staff at Lava. I traveled there about 2 weeks ago with 3 other friends. Our transfer from the airport took us to the wrong hotel. Apparently, there is a Lava Hotel in Oia. Stavroula is the best! She had actually called the other hotel looking for us since we...

The location is great. The rooms are beautiful with large spaces. Breakfast is very good and the view amazing. Not so expensive like other similar hotels. Very quiet, but without many facilities and services. This hotel is a very good choice to stay in Santorini

Santorini has of course something special. And to sleep at the top of Fira, with a view on the bay and on the city is just amazing. Lava Suites is a boutique hotel with a lot of charm, extremely well located (on the corniche, 10 min walks from the central plaza). The rooms are "basics" and not well isolated but...

We stayed in an Executive Room in the Lava Suites Fira end June. Our accommodation was basic with a rustic charm however the view of the Caldera over breakfast made up for this. It was quite a steep walk up from Fira town centre but only 6 minutes walk back down. Car park was 2 minutes walk. Our accommodation was...
