Our trip started off great with the help from Valentino carrying our suitcases down the long flights of steep stairs on our arrival. We were greeted with a clean and beautiful room and stunning views ! We awoke each morning to a lovely complimentary light breakfast of local breads , jams , honey, yogurt , and eggs done to your liking and coffee. The plunge pool located indoors would be wonderful on a hot summer day but as it is not heated we only used once for a quick dip. The views from the terrace patio , especially at sunset were second to none! The bar selection and prices were quite good. The mattresses are on the stiffer side, something to keep in mind for those that prefer a soft mattress. We requested extra plush blankets which helped the issue. Donna and Valentino were very helpfully with any questions or concerns and helped us promptly with transportation needs around the island , at a very fair price from the mini bus company. On our departure Valentino was once again on hand to carry our bag up the stairs to our transportation.

The hotel is very well located in the center of Fira. There is some walking and stairs to get to the hotel but it is something that you expect in Santorini if you want to stay were the action is and with spectacular views. The hotel is very new and you feel it in the rooms, bathrooms, linens, etc. Everything is in great shape and they have a beautiful cave pool. Breakfast was also very nice. I booked the hotel directly and I have to really thank Dona for all her help in getting us rooms with short notice in this high tourist season and also for arranging for very comfortable transfers from the Ferry Pier and to the airport. During our stay Dona and the rest of the staff where very friendly and helpful and that made us feel very comfortable in the hotel. On an island known to be expensive, this hotel has great rates for the quality offered.

I can't say enough positive things about the Delion View Hotel! I was recently there for 2 weeks during the off season and it was perfect. Dona and her staff are so attentive I felt like a family friend rather than a guest. The location in Fira has an amazing view of the caldera and is also conveniently located within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants. The rooms are authentic to the area and are diligently maintained. The first morning I got there, a tray with a huge amount of food was delivered to my room for breakfast. For my remaining stay I chose to serve myself from the generous breakfast buffet (included with the price of your room) and ate either in the dining area or outside on the deck while watching the sunrise. I spent almost every spare minute on that deck gazing off into the distance, listening to music, and sampling local wine and beer. Finally, Dona helped make all of the reservations for my excursions including arranging for transports when necessary (she also sent her assistant with me to the transport meeting spot so I didn't even have to worry about that)! All in all, I would highly recommend the Delion View Hotel for your stay in Santorini.

This charming boutique hotel, owned and manage by Donna and her dedicated team, genuinely makes you feel as if you are staying at their home.
Their personalized service, exceptional location, and the stunning terrace view, where you can enjoy breakfast or sip your beer/wine against a backdrop worthy of a million dollars, are incomparable. Special thanks to Valentino for assisting with our luggage. The team also provided excellent restaurant recommendations within the city and arranged our transportation pick up and drop off seamlessly.
As a hotelier myself, it's challenging to remain unbiased, but I am thoroughly impressed by their remarkable hospitality and multitasking abilities. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this boutique hotel to anyone considering a visit to Fira/Santorini.
You can have a chandelier, crystal glass, Italian marble, a leather sofa, and a Nespresso machine at home, but I'm sure we all agree that one thing we don't have at home is service. This is where Delion View Hotel stands out, offering you the soft touch and attentive service that you can't experience at home.

This hotel has the Santorini view you dream of. We sat out on our terrace watching the sunset or morning light directly over the caldera with cruise ships idling around below. We felt privileged as other tourists gathered at the top of our hotel stairs for photo shoots. To get here, you take a taxi to the town square a few hundred yards away and a hotel employee (who seems to abhor his job) carries your bags up and then down their steep stairs. It is very centrally located on the main walk of Fira the main town. No cars are allowed in its area. Please be ok walking up and down challenging stairs each time you come and go, if you book here. Negatives: price and quality do not match. It’s a no frills room and hotel and not everything is in great shape. 360€ is a ton to pay per night but they dynamically price and it’s the high season so it’s also the norm if you want a caldera view. My biggest recommendation is to book months in advance.

The views are great. The assigned room #106 was a one level below which was an inconvenience. The cave room and the bathroom were claustrophobic for me to a point that I couldn’t sleep. The hotel staff need to put a disclaimer about the flight of stairs downhill to get to the hotel. The breakfast was okay. The gentleman who helped us with our luggage was great, like an angel, my husband developed an acute back pain, but thanks to this wonderful guy, he assisted with helping us haul the luggage down and up.

Donna and the Delion View Hotel was exactly what I imagined my stay in Santorini would be. Breathtaking view, premium location for sunsets, cocktails on the shared balcony (besides having your own balcony), private, not crowded at all and the room itself was immaculate too. Clean, stylish, traditional yet modern. With a cool cave pool. Breakfast was fresh, it had a variety of choices and most importantly Donna and the staff became like a little family during my stay. The photos you see when booking are of all the rooms so might show you the most spacious room in photos and when you get there you get something different. So I was disappointed. You should know what you are getting when booking. Up very steep hill, then down very steep stairs Bathroom had loose plughole in centre and shower curtain only went half way round shower leaving the floor wet. Communal Plug pool downstairs, water is cold Bed was on a concrete block base so not v comfy

It's difficult to find a good spot to see the sunset in Santorini. If you like to avoid the crowd, you can take a few steps down to Delion View Hotel. The very friendly staff will make you enjoy a drink or two while admiring the amazing view at sunset.

Absolutely beautiful view! We really enjoyed spending time at our terrace, any time of the day.
It was a bit difficult to find the B&B at first, so some tips: if you take a bus from the airport (1,60€), please walk uphill, go through the shopping center and directly downwards the path starting from the dark red ”arch”.
We had a great room, with excellent air conditioning and pleasant decoration, including fridge and TV. The swimming pool in the basement ”cave” was refreshing experience after a sunny day, please try!
Hotel staff was friendly and spoke good English. The breakfast included local traditionalities such as Greek yoghurt and baklava. Very nice, especially if eaten at the front terrace. All areas were very clean and well kept.
I gave only 3/5 rating for the sleep quality, because the sounds of busy night life nearby continued until 4 am. Thus my strong recommendation is taking earplugs with you. We had a short stay, thus this was no bigger issue for us.
I would not recommend the hotel, or Fira area in general, for people with reduced mobility and/or small children still needing trolleys, because there are a LOT of stairs and it is exhausting to walk them if you have to carry heavy items.
