My sister and I just got back from Greece! We were originally booked to stay at a different hotel and at the last minute we were switched to Hotel Kavalari! Best thing that happened to us in Santorini. The view alone from this hotel was worth the trip to Greece. The rooms were adorable and the staff was absolutely great....

Loved this hotel. Beautiful and well kept patio with a great view. Even though it's right downtown, was quiet and private. Staff was so nice and helpful. Kristos, a member of the staff, was the BEST. Great wifi. Comfortable bed. Shower was cold, though. If that's a deal breaker.

We loved this amazing hotel. Location is perfect, in the heart of the cliff leading down to the sea port. The scenery is breathtaking.. i never forvet that view, also the hotel cleanliness was perfect, breakfast was ok and sufficient. Cave rooms were just extraordinary. We had a great experience there.

Great location in Fira, easy to find and on the edge of the caldera. I had the single room which was great value, clean and on a terrace with caldera views. Breakfast with a view every morning included!

I have been to this Hotel several times, and it is wonderful! What I appreciate about the owner and staff here, is that they are not trying to be a fancy hotel, but rather a traditional style one. Each room is different, some being cave rooms, built into the side of the volcano or Caldera. The breakfast is wonderful, and...

If you can handle a few stairs (quite a few in all honesty), this hotel has character and is in a great location, plus breakfast was yummy. My room was near the bottom (so more stairs) and had a charming bathroom (cliff wall partially exposed.) My two traveling companions were less lucky as one had a room with a loft...

The hotel is at one of the best locations in Fira, looking out on Nea Kameni island. Situated in the caldera, the views are magnificent. The rooms are spacious, mostly with private balconies or terraces. An excellent breakfast is served on the common terrace. The bus station is a short walk away, as are the local shops.

Fira is extraordinary. This hotel is a perfect complement to the city. The hotel is perfectly situated, easy to find, and cascades down the hillside providing a feast for the eyes at every level. The service is great. The woman who checked us in helped us plan our time, our routes, and told us about food and things of interest....

After having visited Santorini many times and always promising myself a stay at the Kavalari …finally made it! Possible the best views on the Island , beautifully maintained property in traditional Cycladic architecture. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the Cave Apartments which really did make our stay better than anticipated. Huge living space , enough for...

This is a great hotel in a great area in Fira, with some of the best views. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and speak good English. The breakfast is a decent European style (meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, etc.) with a great Greek yogurt and honey. We were in room #13, which was fine for us. but, be advised...
