I rarely give a hotel five stars, but this family-run spotless hotel deserved it from start to finish. Located a short walk from the main square, you’ll find comfortable soothing rooms cleaned daily, a sparkling decent-sized pool, spectacular sunrises and a distinct island vibe. In this difficult year the owners could not have done more to make sure their guests were looked after in a safe and clean way. I travelled alone and felt as if I were staying with friends. The pinnacle of Greek hospitality combined with professionalism. Huge thanks especially to Konstantina and Georgia, hope to see you again!

This place truly lives up to its name. From the moment we arrived to the morning we left.

First its setting. The Hotel is 24 little rooms 12 on two levels overlooking a pool. Each room on the lower level has a couple of chair and table looking out towards the pool and sunbeds. The Hotel has a brilliant view out into the Aegean Sea and to the Island of Anafi and some of the most beautiful sunrises.

Breakfast.. Well I could not find any fault with it. I had the traditional Greek breakfast, fresh coffee and Juice left at the time your require on a tray outside your room. When I came back I started to miss the Chocolate Croissants I had for breakfast so much so I'm ordering them in for home. You have a choice of three breakfasts and all served fresh by the staff.

The Hotel is kept in immaculate condition with staff coming around after breakfast and cleaning the outside areas and your room with fresh linen, towels and dressing gowns left in your rooms.

The Staff were very pleasant, friendly and willing to engage in conversation. The young couple that took care of reception and booked you in were more than obliging in their offers to help from organising trips out to requirements for your room and stay. The young lad that brought round our breakfast was always polite and always had a smile on his face. The cleaning staff also were very friendly.

Location. The location is only a couple of minutes walk from the town of Thira and the many bars and restaurants, the best of which in our opinion was Pelican Kipos. The local bus station which will seem chaotic at first runs very smoothly and is good value for money and transport to all parts of Santorini

We spent 10 days at this hotel and I can not find a fault with any of it. If you visit the Island their are many hotels, Dream Island Hotel would fall into mid range price wise but is more than worth every penny. Seriously give this hotel a try you will not be disappointed.

There is also FREE Wi-Fi in all rooms

This was the second time we stayed at Dream Island Hotel in Santorini and despite Covid, it was just as good as 2 years ago. The facilities are so good for a quiet relaxing holiday. The pool was never crowded and there were plenty of sunbeds and towels to go round. Given Covid, the staff brought breakfast to our room and we were able to eat it on our balcony to enjoy the view. Our room was very clean and we found the beds comfortable. The fridge in the room was a bonus and there was good wifi. The staff, especially Konstantina and John could not do enough for us and they were friendly, efficient and knowledgeable, giving us good advice on what to see and where to go.

The hotel is just 5 minutes walk to the town centre and the caldera views as well as the bus station and taxi rank. We used the bus service to get around the island as it is very cheap and the buses are good, air-conditioned and run regularly. There are lots of restaurants near the hotel where you can get excellent Greek Food, Pizzas and oriental cuisine.

We love this place and will be back. Oh - and I forgot to mention the 7 days of glorious sunshine!

Stayed at this hotel recently. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, we had a small problem with our booking when we arrived, which was sorted with a minimum of fuss. The rooms were very clean, towels were changed daily. Slippers and dressing gowns were provided in the room and pool towels were provided in the pool area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return.

Excellent hotel set in a fabulous location and setting near Thira (Fira) town centre

Reception/Lobby area
We were greeted on arrival by the lovely Stella who made us feel so welcome and comfortable she showed us to our rooms and have us all the information we needed. Her smile when you arrive is enough to make you feel welcome.

Rooms
We had 3 rooms in total for 4 Guests one superior double and two doubles on arrival one room was upgraded. All has pool views with each room having a lovely seating area outside. The rooms are spotlessly clean and well decorated throughout, beds are comfortable, shower rooms are lovely and well presented. Air conditioning in each room great for those hot days and nights. Beds made daily and clean and fresh towels provided.
Each room has a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, kettle and tea and coffee making facilities

Outside
The hotel is set in a lovely place the pool is lovely size with lots of sunbed available. There is additional swing beds and day areas in the shade to sit and relax. The grounds are well maintained and flowers and plants all over.
The overall hotel is so beautiful and very well decorated and makes it feel so relaxed and welcoming.

Bar/Food
There is a bar which provides hot and cold drinks. You can order breakfast or it is included in some packages. There is lots of choice and everything is fresh and well presented and delivered to your room or garden pool area

Staff
Amazing and wonderful I cannot express how lovely Georgina and her husband Rupert ( as we called him) their daughter and all their family made us feel. This is a truly special place and I would recommend visiting it is the best ❤️. They went the extra mile in everything they did and a big thank you to Georgina for putting the petals on from my gorgeous fella ❤️
We will be back very soon and this will now be our regular place in the beautiful town of Santorini

This hotel is really special. The views, location and set up are perfect. Each room has its own private area where breakfast is dropped off each morning. The food was incredible!. The pool is relaxing and it comes with a view of the sea. Peaceful and tranquil and away from the tourists. We easily walked to the caldera restaurants, the main square and the bus station. The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. They will let you store luggage until check in and will set up transfers for you. I cant say enough about the service. I dream about coming back to this beautiful place again!

Booked up this lovely little hotel based on the reviews and it's location. It's a set of small individual rooms like little houses each one over looking the pool area. The rooms aren't that big but are clean and have all the basic facilities you need with a good bed & bathroom. the one we were in had a jacuzzi bath/shower but we couldn't get the jacuzzi to work not that it was needed. The great thing about staying here is the Fabulous breakfasts, these are brought to your room on a huge tray everyday, this is certainly something you have to have. The Staff/Owners were lovely, we sat with them most evenings on the balcony on account of not finding a decent bar in town that we could just sit and drink in without either loud music or smokers. The staff were very helpful in arranging the tours and transfer taxis to wherever we wanted to go, you can haggle a price with the taxi drivers with cash deals. Overall I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a quiet place to relax that's good value with lovely service and fab breakfasts on the edge of town.

Stayed at the Dream Island hotel for a week in August. Fantastic hotel in the lovely city of Firi, run by a fantastic family of Georgia Konstantina & Yanni , and of course Chris & Dad & girlfriend of Yanni,

We had the most wonderful vacation, from the time Chris the van driver picked us up at the airport, to the time he dropped us back to the airport, we had the best holiday we have ever been on as a family, the hotel, the breakfast, the location, and the swimming pool, there's nothing I could fault, and Santorini as an Island was a dream come true for me to visit, from the time I read Leonard Cohen's famous story of him arriving on the Island for a short break in the 70's, and staying there till his death in 2016, I always dreamt of going to your Island, but by staying at the wonderful Dream Island hotel, it made both the dream come true, and the stay wonderful.
I would highly recommend this hotel, and I will definitely be back, hopefully in 2021.

God bless & take care.

Stayed here as a stopover before transferring to a different island. The room was lovely, situated right by the large pool that had a magnificent view of the non-caldera side of the island. Staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Dionysus. The delicious breakfast was included in the price and delivered to the room in the morning. There was a bar in the hotel where you could order drinks to be brought to your sunbed, of which there were an abundance. Great location, short walk to Fira town centre and caldera edge. Smooth transfer to/from port and airport, although this was at an extra cost. Overall a lovely stay and wish we had booked to stay longer, as for Santorini prices we felt this hotel was good value for money.

We highly recommend the Dream Island Hotel. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished. I highly recommend the breakfast. Nothing beats a morning knock on the door with huge tray including juice, coffee, eggs, cheese, fruit, chocolate croissant, cake, bread and butter. It am amazing way to start the day, eating this breakfast on your balcony. The pool area is awesome and not overly crowded. The shuttle cost to and from ferry port was 35 euros which seems to be the going rate. And the service was top notch. Note: it is not on the caldera side, so need to walk 15 minutes to watch sunset

Dear Guest, Firstly I would like to thank you for considering our hotel to spend your holidays in Santorini. We do have a bar at the lobby area from where you can get drinks. At the moment we only serve breakfast in our hotel and we are still not sure if snacks will be added for next summer season. I remain at your disposal for any further information you may need. Best regards, Konstantina Karamolegkou

Hi. The pool is not heated but in the summer it is more than warm enough. There is also a shallow end that is suitable for children The hotel is very close to the centre square of Fira - about a 5 minute walk.
