Anatoli is an amazing hotel experience -- very friendly, hands-on staff who are ready to help you with any questions. The pool is nice and large and the breakfast in the morning was always delicious and a great start to the day. Our room was spacious, well air-conditioned, with a lovely large shower. About a 5-10 minute walk to Fira city center which was tons of fun. We also opted for the spa treatments they offer in the "cave winery spa." We received access to the wine barrel sauna, hot tub with jets (not as warm compared to the sauna), massage, and facial. Overall we loved our experience here and would definitely recommend it to any and all travelers to Greece.

For the price we paid this hotel is excellent (If you’re prepared to know that the rooms are not exactly luxury). The location is brilliant as it is a 5 min walk from the heart of Fira, so it’s really quiet. The staff are really friendly, especially the lovely lady who helps serve up breakfast, and the pool bar guy from Albania is really nice and welcoming too. Cleaners do a good job every day on your room, and the pool area is just what you need on a hot day, so I can’t fault it.

The building is beautiful as it used to be an old winery, and there is an amazing church just outside too. Would recommend ++

Location was good- just 10 min drive from the airport. We arranged airport transfer that cost $33 euros, large nice comfy van and friendly driver Costa. Our room was large but the toilet was really quite small and the design was not too good, once u shower the whole place gets wet. It was quite stressful showering, not to mention not enough hooks, place to put your clothing etc. We had to change outside. Breakfast mostly repetitive but the server there was friendly and made a good hot choc! Reception ladies were friendly and recommended a day tour for $90 euros covering many main attractions like the archeo museum, red sand/black sand beach, driving thru the towns , wine tasting.. it was fun and enjoyable. City square is jus a short walk and there u can see the most magnificent sunset (near the 3 bells). Overall an enjoyable stay!

Due to our chosen villa only being available for 6 nights, we booked two rooms at this hotel for our final night in Santorini through Booking.com and discovered a week before, that the date booked was incorrect - it should have been one day earlier.

Checked the hotel website and there was availability on the correct date so e-mailed the hotel to ask that they change the date.

Hotel advised that this had to be done through Booking.com website but when we tried on several occasions to change the date, their website kept saying that it couldn't.

Contacted the hotel again and they advised again that they still had availability but could not change it themselves but only through Booking.com.

This pantomime to and fro went on for the rest of the week until finally I decided to phone Booking.com who said that we could change the date if there was still availability.

They checked, and there wasn't. Asked whether we could have a refund and they said it was up to the hotel to decide.

Phoned the hotel to say that we had been advised previously that there was availability and had hoped that our various e-mails to them would have meant that they had reserved rooms for us on the amended date since they had taken the full amount from our funds

The hotel advised that they would consider our request for a refund and get back to us.

Guess what? They couldn't give a refund so they had £176 for nothing and a huge amount of hassle for us.

Needless to say, this has soured our experience of the beautiful island of Santorini and we will not be back.

Neither will we ever use Booking.com again. I hope you won't either.

This hotel was perfect , surrounded by old greek buildings and churches , decorated with traditional Cycladic style. There is a climb to Fira caldera but that is very obvious if you read the reviews and know Santorini well.
The view from the front of the hotel at sunrise is amazing.
Pool area is great for catching the sun , the breakfast is a bonus served in an old renovated wine store room very relaxed with lots of character and a quick trip to the spa is a real treat.
The staff work hard and are so helpful, I have visited Santorini a few times and been lucky to travel around the islands many time and for me this place for location , cleanliness and service is the best place I have stayed.
Time to work hard , save up again and return soon !

My friend and I stayed at the Anatoli Hotel 3 nights this past week. We had such a wonderful experience. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly from the moment we walked in the door, giving us maps of the island and dinner recommendations and explaining everything. Our room was beautiful, with a balcony overlooking the sea and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and even has a path out back that takes you right into town. The breakfast was delicious and had so many options. But hands down my favorite part was the pool. It was extremely clean and big and was wonderful to swim in. The bar next to the pool was also fantastic. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough and am definitely hoping to be back one day!

I used to be a Travel Agent and Cabin Crew so I have been lucky enough to visit lots of hotels all around the world. I was very impressed with the Anatoli Hotel, especially when I was expecting a 2* .. this hotel should not be a 2* it is so much better than that!!!! I visited the Anatoli for 6 nights with my parents and brother. This hotel is very clean, has a fantastic location, beautiful spa and the staff are so lovely and friendly. Evagellia makes you feel so welcome on arrival and takes care of you throughout the trip. Elli is amazing, he has been running around for us all week at the pool and at breakfast. The staff really make the hotel a special experience. Thank you so much, I hope to return one day.

Regards
Jade

Just a lovely typically Greek Hotel.
Staff were so friendly and helpful. Covid measures for breakfast were carried out with no fuss but really well organised and kept everyone safe.
Breakfast was great, if you can't find something you like you're too fussy.
Great location close to the main town (15 min walk) but best placed to be out of the crowds.
Pool was large and welcoming in the heat. Pool Bar prices for food and drink were very reasonable.
Room was basic but kept spotlessly clean by the maid.
Peaceful setting in very well kept grounds.
Mini mart and Kebab Takeaway very close by for supplies etc.
Bathroom floor rather slippery when wet and not much storage space in the room if I had to be critical.
Would certainly recommend, we stayed for 5 nights.

We have just returned to England following five nights at this hotel - firstly, the photographs don’t do this hotel justice. It is beautiful!

The staff are so friendly and made us feel welcome from the outset. Breakfast was a buffet, organised very well, clean and felt safe with the Covid measures that had been implemented. Lots of choice such as eggs, fruit and pastries.

It is great location, a five minute drive from the main centre of Thira. You can easily walk this but we had a baby with a pram so it wasn’t possible due to the hills and steps. There is a mini market near by, and a restaurant close by too in walking distance.

The grounds are lovely and as a whole the hotel is very clean and well looked after.

We had a double room with a balcony. The rooms are basic, but perfect for what you need. The only niggle I have is the bathroom floor is super slippy so this was difficult with a toddler and even I slipped on one occasion.

There is a pool bar serving drinks and food all day, the gentleman running that is super friendly and always available to help you!

Overall, quiet hotel and it was perfect for what we needed. Would absolutely recommend and would return should be visit Thira again! We waited so long for our trip having had it cancelled in 2020, it was worth the wait!

Good hotel in a quiet location. The breakfast pie was good home-made, sweet and salt. They made eggs as desired. Room spacious, only the bathroom is smaller. But what makes the hotel top is very helpful and nice personal. Several times they gave us great advice during our stay. We thank you. I have to come back here

How much does the airport shuttle cost to and from Santorini airport
Answer from Steve P
Derbyshire, United Kingdom11 contributions3 helpful votes
Not sure about the airport shuttle or local bus but August 2016 we paid 30 Euro for a private hire taxi/mini bus from the airport to the Anatoli hotel. The staff are great at the hotel and prebooked this for us.
