Although Galatia is close to the center of town, it is mostly uphill getting there. Make sure to bring a small flashlight if you are planning to walk back to the hotel at night. Our apartment unit was in a different building from the hotel. For the excellent pricing, we had a comfortable one bedroom apartment. We would probably not...

Close to town, local restaurants and local transport. 10min walk to see the caldera view - must do at sunset. Staff lovely, friendly and always on hand. Apartments quaint and tidy - all you need. I would definitely go back here. Whilst not a beach holiday the scenery is to die for. Santorini is a beautiful place and Fira is...

A very nice place to stay with kind and accommodating staff. Our apartment was very clean and a well cared for property with beautiful flowers at the entrance. The hotel owner gave us a detailed map and clear instructions on how to navigate the town and where to go. I would definitely recommend this cute and pleasant place to stay!

Good place to sleep 2-4 nights. Not very fancy. Strange covers on beds without a duvet cover. Clogged sink was also not an advantage. Old towels. If you have an opportunity try not to stay in Fira, as the city is dirty, chaotic and nothing to do. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast saying that there are a lot of places...

I personally think this is one of the best hotels in Fira! Really cute hotel, clean rooms and friendly staff. Short walk into town, market around the corner for drinks, snacks, fresh breakfast pastries and coffee. Bed was comfortable and it has a nice pool and spa (separate locations) although the spa was not heated. Quiet and relaxing stay, definitely...

I have just spent one week at Galatia Villas with my daughter. The owner and his two sons take great pride in their hotel and so they should. It was impeccably clean (the sheets and towels are changed every day)and not even a speck of dust under the bed!! The bedroom was standard size for a three star hotel, the...

This hotel was very cute and the people that worked there were very nice! It was quiet but pretty far away from the main center in town. There is also a very steep hill that you have to walk up and down to get there. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay there and was very pleased with all the...

We were lucky enough to find out we had been given a free upgrade on arrival. The room was massive, we were very comfortable in our stay. Clean room, Comfortable beds, great water pressure in the shower, spacious room and a kitchenette to prepare small stuff if wanted. The reception staff were more than helpful in assisting us with everything...

I have been in Santorini many times and stayed in several places. This time we only stayed one night on our way to another island. Galatias is fairly well located on the outskirts of Fira and it's a good alternative if you absolutely want to stay in the capital and you are on a budget. The room was small and...
