My wife and I stayed at San Marino Suites for a week in late July and I can say that I truly enjoyed my time there. I would like to say a huge thank you to the lady in the reception, Eleni, and the owner of the property, George, for their sense of hospitality and their efforts to ensure that we have an amazing stay. Furthermore, they were eager to help on every occasion and suggest the best places for dinner and cocktails.

The property is located just a few minutes away from the beautiful town of Fira and it is easily accessible by car, bike and foot. Although you cannot enjoy the sunset from there since is located in the other side of the cliff, you can enjoy the gorgeous sunrise, which we did everyday.
They have their own private van for transfers which is fairly priced (compared with the taxi) and especially useful for people that do not want to drive when on holidays. The design, furniture and decoration all around the property and the suites is of really high standards and quality. Our room was very spacious equipped with a super comfy mattress and pillows, a pair of sunbeds in front of the room, Marshall Bluetooth speaker, and a nice cave style shower. My 4/5 rating is based mostly on my experience during breakfast time. The restaurant is opening for breakfast at 8 am and although we arrived every day at 8.30 am, the restaurant was half ready. Some days it wasn’t properly cleaned from the previous evenings, the music was off and the windows closed. The service (during breakfast) is a bit slow and confusing. On the other hand, the food is really tasty and fresh throughout the day.
Despite these minor faults, I would definitely return to the San Marino suites if I have the chance in the future.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and were upgraded to a sea view suite. The suite was so luxurious with a large washroom, a plush fluffy bed and a sofa area with a balcony we could sit and enjoy the view on. The staff was very friendly & helpful, and we never needed for anything.

I you are feeling like a walk in the town, the main square is just minutes away by foot and you'll find all of the hustle and bustle. If however you aren't in the mood to stray far, they have an excellent breakfast you could enjoy, or you could grab some later eats at their Restaurant Bar.
Thank you so much to both George and all the other staff for their amazing Greek hospitality - what a great way to end our European vacation!

Before we even came to Santorini I was already amazed by the friendliness when it came to the whole booking process. Because of the COVID situation we had to make a few changes and the staff was always super helpful and friendly, especially Christina.
When we arrived at the hotel we got a nice room with fantastic views. The whole staff is always wearing masks, there is even a little „hygiene tower“ in the lobby where you can always get fresh masks, gloves and desinfectants. So we felt safe at all times.
There are two pool areas with lots of sunbeds and there was always enough room for everyone, it never felt crowded. Everything is so pretty decorated, there are so many little corners to discover. And you have a great poolbar with delicious drinks and food.
The rooms were spacious, with a comfy bed and air condition. The only little downside by having a room at the pool (where you have the nice views) is, that it can be a bit noisy in the evening when guests are sitting at the bar. But most guest were pretty quiet and relaxed as well.
We really enjoyed our stay and can totally recommend this hotel.

We stayed at the Hotel for 10 days and would definitely come back again if we met Santorini a second time. The whole hotel staff was very friendly and always very helpful. The Service is amazing, you can order food from the restaurant and they will bring it wherever you want. The view from the Hotel especially from the pool is very beautiful and the location is also very great, you can reach fira in 10 Minuten on foot. There are a lot of options to get some food. 3 stars aren‘t enough for the service of the hotel, it’s more like 4-5 stars. The rooms were always very clean, they changed the towels every day. The hotel owner will tell you everything important about the island and will offer you special trips to see the most beuatiful places at the island. The barkeeper is the best we‘ve ever met. The music at the pool is very pleasant.

We decided to stay here and reserved the “Aqua Marina” and we’re extremely happy with our selection. The rooms were clean and decorated nicely, but brought such a fun Santorini vibe to our stay. The beds were AMAZING. We slept like babies. The hot tub in our room was so much fun to use. My little one loved the bubbles and we appreciated the baby bath soap to use. The bathroom and sink area was superb and our 5 year old slept in the living room area and loved it. The best part of our stay was the awesome outdoor private pool that we used to our advantage. We enjoyed it so much we probably enjoyed that mostly over touring and walking around in the sweltering heat. It was definitely something to look forward to once we were back from our excursions. The hotel staff were extremely friendly, cordial, helpful with everything from carrying our luggage to providing us delicious drinks and other items a la cart or on menu. The restaurant attached produces the finest and top notch items grown and locally sourced as well so we appreciated all the details put into this hotel. I would stay here again! Thank you to the wonderful folks at the hotel who were supremely flexible and patient with all our messages and requests.

We booked a suite with the cave pool. The cave pool was a nice concept, but we didn't enjoy it as it felt a bit excluded from the rest of the room. Take this into account when booking the room. I also didn't like how the toilet was in a separate from the shower and the sink.

Also, bear in mind that the hotel is located almost a 20 min walk away from the centre of Fira...

However, staff at the hotel were very friendly - the lady at the reception was excellent and got us a great deal for a jeep tour the following day. We only stayed for one night, and our flight the next day departed in the evening, and the hotel kindly let us store our luggage and use the facilities (pool etc.) until we had to leave for the airport. Generally, the service was very good.

Wonderful stay, everything was perfect ! The pool is a bonus, we didn't know about it until our arrival at the location. Also the cleanliness was 10 out of 10, George, the owner, was very friendly and helpful in recommending us some restaurants around.
Really recommend the place for short and long stays, we personally felt like home for 4 days. Thanks for a memorable stay, George !

Best stay ever! From start to finish, the property was great, the staff (George and his family +Bobby) were great! We checked in, he offered to let us stay on the main property to be close to the city for the evening and next day afternoon, then we could travel down to Ayama which was so peaceful! We were in room 107 at the main property and it was nice, featured a jacuzzi in the room, an epic rainfall esq shower and two king beds in separate rooms as well as a balcony off the main room. Breakfast was included and it featured a selection of meat/cheeses, croissants, cereal, etc. Down at the Villa, Ayama, there was a full kitchen, two full bathrooms, one featuring a very deep spa tub (w/TV). The outside view was just as stunning with a pool and sitting area. Also very tranquil, near the sea. I truly enjoyed my stay, oh and George took us on a tour of the island: windmills, the church and Oia. He was also helpful in recommending restaurants! I'd def go back.

What can I say, an unforgettable stay at San Marino suites! We stayed for a week at the beginning of May in the aqua marine villa. We would recommend this villa 100% to anyone considering staying here. The room offers you a private jacuzzi by the double bed, a private pool, smart TV, and all the amenities that one would require. Room service is also available at a small charge of €5 per order, no matter how much. It is located a 10 minute walk outside of Fira and is nice because you get a sea view, have the opportunity of seeing an amazing sunrise, and don’t have the busyness of Fira at your doorstep. It is really easy to commute round the island as the hotel offers you a taxi service to anywhere you desire, at a charge of around €30-€40 euros. This is good every once in a while we found. The room is cleaned daily by the maid (it is optional but you can say otherwise). Towels and bathrobes also can be changed daily. Overall, I would recommend this very highly to anyone visiting Santorini, you won’t be disappointed!

This is the most amazing boutique hotel in Fira, Santorini. The hotel is short 10 minute walk into the centre of Thira near all the shops and restaurants. All the team at the hotel are incredibly friendly and couldn’t do enough. Could not recommend this place enough, all the small details and characteristics of the hotel shows a lot of love and thought when creating the calm and tranquil atmosphere. The restaurant at the hotel is one of the best restaurants in Thira and you can understand why!
Very very highly recommended
