We stayed here for a few days in October. When we arrived I must admit I thought the place was a bit too far out of town. After walking into town (5 minutes) I realised the benefits of Villa Koronios - it had parking and was quiet! There was a nice pool and Maria, the owner, was an excellent host and very helpful.
Our stay was certainly good value, the room was a decent size with a desk, good sized bathroom and a nice private balcony to watch the sunrise from. Wifi was good and it was an excellent base to either walk in to Fira or drive to Oia (20 minutes) or Akrotiri (20 minutes).

Very small hotel, about 10 mins walk from central Fira (uphill) Spotlessly clean everywhere. Lovely room, basic, but with comfier beds than we are used to in Greece, two, fluffy pillows each and.....a proper power shower that didn't flood the bathroom. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful and the small pool area had plenty of beds and shaded areas. In fact, we had it to ourselves and we went at the height of peak season. Excellent value for money.

We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Villa Koronios. The property is located 5 min walk from Fira centre. The host was so friendly and warm. Our studio for 3 people was modern with touches of traditional wooden features and super comfortable with all the cooking facilities if we needed. Pool was perfect for what we wanted. Really great value to stay here and I would highly recommend.

Situated very close to the center of Fira (10 minutes walk), but without all the noise and fuss of the center streets, thus a great place to rest after a day of sightseeing. The room was very nice and clean, with an awesome terrace, with a peaceful view, where we could drink our coffees. The pool was also a huge plus, being the perfect spot to chill with a good book. All these for a really good price.
All the thanks to the staff, who was super friendly and helpful.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. We booked here in June 2022 by accident since everything else was booked. Very rude management, they don’t care about offering a good service, they just want your money. Its dirty and beds have bed-bugs!!!

Villa Koronios is the best place to go if you are visiting Santorini. The place is beautiful and extremely clean, the staff is friendly and professional! Our room was lovely, with a private hot tub. It is very close to the centre of Thira but away from the chaos. Definitely recommended. We are looking forward to come back soon

This hotel is great! Extremely clean! This is a family owned business. The owner Maria is the sweetest person! She is so accommodating with anything you need! Great location! Close to town, grocery store, and restaurants. Fira is great to stay in Santorini. I can’t wait to visit Greece and especially Maria! We loved her!❤️

Koronios Villa it's an absolutely great choice for you. We have stayed there for 7 days and 7 nights and it's was very, very nice. The hotel is near the center of Thira, in a very a quiet place. The rooms are very large, clean and with big bed, large windows, balcony, wonderful pool and sea view and also the rooms have all that you want and all you can need for cooking. Maria, the director of the hotel is a very, very nice women, very helpful and she can tell you all that you need to know about Thira and about Santorini Island. I don't have enough words to say all about our Santorini experience on the Koronios Villa, because all was absolutely perfect. We will strongly recommend you Koronios Villa if you want to visit this beautiful island. Best regards from Bucharest, Romania.

Arrived late at night and the owners were very accomodating to find me a room for the evening. The place was quiet and clean and was everything you could ask for. Had a great night’s rest and the main town is only a short stroll away. Thanks so much for an awesome stay!

We visited 19th - 26th August, for my 30th birthday.

We didn't have the budget for the caldera views and cliff side hotels, however staying at Koronios Vila was just perfect and everything we needed.

The room was lovely and clean, with air con, self catering facilities and a safe. Pool area is small, but there isn't many rooms so it never felt too busy. Wifi throughout the hotel including the pool.

The daily breakfast was basic but great - bread, cereal, fruit, yoghurt, cheeses, tomato, coffee, juice. Perfect sat in the sun next to the pool to start the day.

Maria the hotel owner is lovely, she was very friendly and really helpful with any queries. Maria can help you organise any trip and has personally done a lot of them, so can give you first hand information.

Hotel is a short 5-10 min walk to the center of Fira town and the beautiful caldera views. Bus station is also close, with regular local buses to take you all over the island. Note - it's only €1.80 per person to/from the airport, so better than €10 each in a taxi.

During our stay we hiked from Fira to Oia, did a full day volcano and sunset boat trip, visited the Akrotiri archaeological site, spent a day at Perissa beach and had lazy days by the pool.

On our last day, we had a very late flight and didn't need to leave for the airport until 9pm. Maria kindly allowed us to leave our luggage in reception and there is a shower available which meant we could enjoy an extra day and freshen before our flight.

If you're looking to visit Santorini, be close to the action but avoid the extortionate hotels in the Caldera, Koronios Vila is just perfect.
