Most hotels in downtown Fira or even Oia are not only expensive but you may end up paying so much with tourists peeping into yr hotel. Located just 2-3min away from downtown Fira, the hotel offers free shuttle to/fro downtown that you can easily request anytime. Love the architecture, the amazing breakfast spread, the pool with complimentary big float, and most importantly, the friendliness of the hotel staff. There is a Mexican restaurant recommended by the staff, which is just 5min walk from the hotel and it has the best sunset views we've seen while in Santorini. Definitely recommended to anyone visiting Santorini!

Very good property and excellent hospitality . Very good views of the Caldera and very large comfortable rooms . Easy access and hardly any steps or climbs . Right on the main road witj bus stops across the hotel which you don’t need any way because of the superb Fira drop and pick up service offered by the hosts . Only down side is it so available only till 930 PM as yeh last call and if in Fira you do want to dance the night away or at least enjoy the numerous cafés , bars and shops which are all open late into the night . There is a taxi service which can be a bit dicy some times but if you are patient you will get one to bring you to the hotel at any time of the night . Between 20 and 30 euros depending on how your luck stands . Housekeeping at the hotel needs improvement and most of all do give us at least own bottle of water pe day free and not charge the miserly 1 euro that you do . But great experience . The breakfast is served in the room on trays and is limited in its choices .

I spent , together with my husband, 3 wonderful days in this excellent hotel. Its location, in the heart of the island, assures , besides a unique volcano view ,a panorama of the rest of the island. Rooms are clean and the beds and pillows are very comfortable. Everything is perfect starting from the breakfast which is served in your room at the hour you can choose the day before. The staff are really friendly and helpul. They gave us lots of suggestion during our stay in Santorini. They are always available and ready to satisfy any kind of request. A special thanks to Markus, Michael , Manolis, Antonis and Vaggelis. And last, but not least, my thanks goes to Barbara , the owner of our reliable travel agency ( Cardelli viaggi Marino Rome) for having chosen this unforgettable hotel!

We had a wonderful 6 night stay in Santorini at the Nautilus Dome. Affordable, cozy, clean, wonderful staff that really takes care of their guests. Breakfast is brought to your room every morning. Sunsets on the top deck or across the street are as nice any on the island. Get up early, get a cup of coffee at the bakery next door, and watch the sunrise in the east. Convenient location, with free lifts into Fira where you can catch a local bus to almost anywhere on the island. Door to door transport from and to the airport can also be arranged for a reasonable flat fee. The Nautilus Dome is a beautiful small Santorini style hotel with a nice pool and bar. We recommend the Mojitos!

The hotel is situated about 3 km from Fira bus stand. However, hotel provides free shuttle to Fira on demand which is convenient and takes 5 min to reach the town. Note that they don’t offer shuttle after 10 PM. The location of the hotel is such that you can enjoy sunset from hotel roof or from the empty space across the road.

There is a bakery next to the hotel - highly recommended.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. They are well maintained and house keeping did a good job every day.

The hotel does not have a restaurant. They have a kitchen where they only prepare breakfast. Hotel has a small bar. Breakfast is average but fulfilling.

There is a swimming pool at the hotel. It’s not very big but is well maintained.

The staff is what makes the hotel shine. They are extremely friendly and helpful. Markos who manages the front desk was very helpful in giving us rooms before check-in time. He also helped us arranging transport to port and make restaurant reservation. Nektarious, Michael and Iavor were always ready provide anything that we asked for and take us to Fira town whenever we asked them. Thank you all for making our stay very memorable.

Would love to stay here again in future.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is delivered to your room each morning (having to choose what you would like the night before) and again it was excellent. The pool is long enough to actually swim and there are views either side of the sea. The room was clean and well equipped with a terrace. The free transfer service to Fira was great, just turn up or ring and they will take you to/from the Town, great perk to have. Next door is a bakery, which you can buy lunch if you do not want to go to Fira. They have a choice of savoury and sweet options. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The Desk manager of Nautilus Dome was very friendly. He made sure our short stay in Santorini (2 days) is worthwhile and enjoyable. In our many travels, this is the only place where breakfast is served in our room after submitting not later than 7pm, our choices for next day’s breakfast from a selection of bread, fruits, cereals, etc. I think, this is a very efficient way of serving breakfast to guests. Santorini is a walkable place, but the manager offered transportation to / and from designated places .

We stayed at this resort for 4 days and had an excellent experience. The resort is small but fairly new so everything is in great condition, beds are comfortable, the AC is great and the pool area is beautifully maintained. The staff are wonderful, friendly, very helpful and able to easily converse in several languages. The laundry service was much appreciated!

The resort is right across the highway from the Caldera so beautiful views and a great place for sunset pictures.

There is no on-site restaurant but a delicious breakfast is served daily, there is a great restaurant in the hotel right across the street or it is a 8 minute walk to NEON, a great family run casual restaurant with delicious food and reasonable prices.

There is a daily shuttle to Fira that runs between 10 and 2 pm or there are lots of taxis or bus service. We chose to walk most days and although it is along the highway, it is only a 35 minute walk.

A beautiful and relaxing place to stay.

Nautilus Dome was a great choice for Santorini, Greece. The Management and Staff were so welcoming and also very accommodating. Any thing we need help with they were there ready to assist us. We were a group of 5 people we had two rooms. I contacted the hotel before arriving to Santorini and arrange for the hotel to heve us pick up and transported to the hotel. We were attending a family Wedding at a near by resort. We need to get to the hotel and change for a family outing that had been pre arranged. Michael and Nektarios were at the airport ready to transport us to the hotel and we were able to make our engagement. Are rooms were ready and part of our group was not attending the family function and the hotel provided a shuttle service to Fira the nearby town for free of charge. Great customer service and all the employees at this hotel are very customer friendly and love to tell you about their Island. One of the great features of this hotel is there breakfast made to order and delivered to the rooms. Great breakfast. Marcos the manager was outstanding on arranging anything we needed. I would like to mention Javor, Christianoc, Mimoza and Maria they did an outstanding in there jobs. We enjoy Nautilus Dome’s hospitality and there commitment to Excellence. If your planning a trip to Santorini and want a relaxing location with great views. Check out this resort.

The hotel was amazing, great staff taking care of every need and every detail, the areas were very well maintain, delicious breakfast delivered to the room, Marcus at the front desk was very diligent and helpful, Nektarios was very friendly and Michael gave us great tips every time he gave us a ride to Fira, which was only 5 mins away. The housekeeping team was very dedicated. The hotel is conveniently located close to Fira and the hotel offers a free shuttle to downtown every day until 10 pm, they drop you off close to the bus and taxi stations. It is really convenient and our stay was the best thanks to the great staff they have. I highly recommend it.

During my stay there I saw many children swimming in the pool safely. the pool starts with shallow water (I think for kids) and then goes deeper for adults.the stuff is always around and all drinks and refreshments are served in plastic cups.so no possibility to set foot on broken glass or something. So yes it is safe. 🙂
