Taking a quick trip up to the ADK, our perfect overnight stay during this winter's first snow storm was at Great Pines. There's nothing like sitting in the lodge, blazing stone fireplace, glass of wine in hand watching a snowstorm outside.... Britta and Devlin are energetic, enthusiastic hosts with a keen attention to detail. As we pass through to Blue... More

Great Pines was exactly what we were looking for. Wanted to hike and kayak and found many options in the area. We stayed in the lodge and the room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the view of the lake beautiful. We had a fabulous dinner in the Lodge. The food was excellent, the portions very generous!! The owners... More

4 friends ate at the Leantoo Restaurant at the Great Pines. Staff was very nice and the drinks, specialty cocktails were very good. We had the wings and each of us had a sandwich entrée that was enough for lunch the next day. The food was excellent and the portions are a great value. The bar area and deck give... More

We had a lakeview room in the Lodge. Rooms were a bit smallish but very well appointed. Linens were first quality. We especially loved relaxing in the Adirondack chairs on the main dock watching the sunset, with a slight breeze and a autumn chill it was the perfect ending to a beautiful day of hiking. Food at the Lean-To was... More

We recently took a last minute excursion to Old Forge for a weekend in the Adirondacks and were lucky to snag a cabin at Great Pines. What an amazing weekend! We started every morning with coffee, dockside by the lake. Spent our afternoon's swimming and hiking local trails. Capping each day with an excellent dinner in the lodge. We can't... More

I made reservations for my husband and I, along with three other friends for 9/24 & 9/23. The minute I met Britta at check-in, I knew we were all in for a great treat! The Lodge is beautiful, and just what you would want, and expect, for the Adirondacks. Our room was pristine, and the bed was one of the... More

The hotel is in a good location. Lake views are breathtaking. Owners are friendly and have decided to dedicate their life to this place. I love to support locals. They're making changes as they go, a lot of cosmetics at this time. So many places in the area are very very tired, that's what brought us here. The lodge itself... More

Newly Renovated and absolutely beautiful! The food in the lean-to is delicious casual cuisine and the fine dining is fresh and well done! The salmon is my absolute favorite thing ever and the filet is so big and cooked to perfection. The lodge lobby is decorated with such a cozy adirondack feel! Definitely check this place out if you haven't... More

Checked in on Friday afternoon. Our cabin was very nice, clean and the promised bed for our chocolate lab was there along with a food/water bowl for him. Our bed was amazingly comfy as were our pillows. A long dresser and closet was ample space for clothes. Direct TV too with a flat screen on the wall. Appliances were a... More

We visited this newly renovated Adirondack resort for our 17th wedding anniversary, and it met and exceeded our expectations. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The rooms were neat and clean with simple but charming mountain decor. And the two dinners we ate at the Lean-To were a highlight. Portions were large and delicious, standing out from the standard fare... More
