We got married at Full Moon Resort October 25th 2014. We are so happy that we were able to share our wedding weekend with Full Moon. From the location to the stars and laughter we were so happy with every detail of the weekend. We had been planning the wedding for a little over a year. Leighann was our event...

Where do I even begin? My husband and I got married at Full Moon on November 1st, 2014 and we could have imagined having a more perfect, magical weekend. I guess I'll start with how we discovered Full Moon. From the get go, we knew we wanted a rustic, outdoor venue and I had been researching places in upstate New...

My husband and I went here for a wedding this past weekend. While the wedding was beautiful and the food was phenomenal the accommodations were lacking. We were booked for a room in the Valley View house with a king sized bed. It was disappointing. The bed was not a king sized mattress, it was two twin beds pushed together....

We recently attended a wedding at the Full Moon Resort and were well warned about its rustic nature and having to walk between venues outdoors. We were lucky to get a room with a bathroom, small, outdated but served our needs. Room was one step up from a camping cabin with heat. Electric heat worked very well. Walls were very...

Recently attended a weekend wedding at Full Moon. The staff was friendly & accommodating for late arrivals & dietary allergies. Go for the beautiful countryside. Be prepared for the rustic setting, hilly paths & call ahead if you need amenities, such as a hair dryer, as you will need to bring your own. On your way there or home, do...

This valley near Big Indian, NY is lovely, great colors at this time of year. However, we got a room for a Sunday night wedding—a room as big as a walk-in closet, with bathroom down the hall— for $115. Housing facilities: overpriced and mediocre. Setting: lovely. Food: pretty good! Bar availability: superb. Wandering places: lots. Depends on what you want.....

I’d like to thank Trip Advisor for the opportunity to openly discuss customer comments and feedback. In response to this particular review, I’d like to begin by reiterating the reviewers closing statement: …”Depends on what you want…” Full Moon Resort is unique in it’s authentic representation of a turn-of-the-century Catskill Mountain Resort. When we purchased the facility in 2000 we...

My daughter got married at Full Moon during the weekend of 7/25-27/2014. We had reserved the entire resort for our guests. The wedding and entire weekend was absolutely fantastic. Full Moon was exceptional - food (Friday night barbecue and campfire, breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, lunch in the barn on Saturday, and of course, the cocktail hour and reception Saturday...

I attended a wedding here in November 2013. The event kicked off on Friday night with a barbecue in the barn and ran though Sunday morning. The wedding itself took place on Saturday afternoon and was followed by a reception and dance. All meals were provided, with plenty of delicious things for me, a vegetarian, to eat. it was cold...

My wife and I got married at the Full Moon Resort this summer and were incredibly impressed by the whole experience. From picking a date through the final checkout, the staff was supportive, communicative, professional and deeply helpful (thanks Melanie!). The resort is rustic in a wonderful way! My son and his wife got married here. We spent the whole weekend--Friday to Sunday. Everything was beautiful. Great food, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are small but oh so convenient. It was very relaxing and fun. I would recommend for a "destination wedding"
