The Alpinne Inn was cute, it looks like different cabins. The whole town was too rural for us. We had no phone reception and was different to what we are used to. The place was clean, although the carpet smelled like it was old but the room, sheets and bathroom were clean. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, very hard, it...

Stayed here for 5 nights while hiking in Catskills. I can't give this lodge any less than 5 stars based mainly on how gracious the host was. Upon arriving I told him I wanted to do some hiking. He promptly copied 6 hikes from the New York/New Jersey Trail Council website. And made some recommendations of his own. The trail...

We stayed for a few night on our way elsewhere. Ants and earwigs were constant in living room, bathroom and bedroom. Inside leaking air conditioner, pool was closed being worked on, no dinner option because a wedding party was staying there (what that had to do with their other guests- no clue), decor was sooo out dated, no wifi even...

The inn is located in a beautiful area and has great potential. We needed to stay here as part of a wedding celebration. It took a number of calls for the proprietor to get back to us to confirm our reservation. Checking in was also a difficult endeavor, and our room was not ready even though we'd called ahead to...

We stayed 2 nights while attending a wedding at Full Moon. Based on comments/complaints from other guests staying at Full Moon and Slide Mountain Inn we had the best option. The premises were spotless , had WiFi and air conditioning in the rooms, and the breakfast included was very good. On the downside the owner was inhospitable, often there was...

This was my annual summer trip to the Alpine Inn and I happy to report that the Grieser family is still running things. After fifty years of ownership the family would like to sell the hotel and retire. Most guests including me, hope that the hotel remains in the family. These people put their bodies and souls into managing this...

The first waft of air you get one you walk inside the door is that of old people. Musty smelling and needs updating desperately. BUYER BEWARE......NO CELL SERVICE...so if you are looking to hide from people and don't mind an antiquated surrounding this is your place. Otherwise, I'd give this place a miss. Glad I stayed only one night. Only...

I stayed in some other lodges and hotels in the area with my family. I must say this is the cleanest one them all. The breakfast was very nice and with tons of food to choose from. Staff was friendly too, even the man on the front desk :) Since I only stayed overnight I am not sure about the...

Being European, I loved going to this place as it reminded me of the nice old chalet in the swiss Alps. The breakfast was outstanding with tons of things to choose from, from fruits salad to scrambled eggs, cereals, hot bagels and chalah rolls. We really loved it. The room are a bit old fashioned (70's) but in the good...

The setting, the service and most of all the hospitality given by the gressler family. For over 20 plus years , Family members have stayed at the inn during the peak of the autumn foliage to view the amazing foliage of the surrounding area. They spoke about the good times they had there. impeccable cleanliness of the rooms, but also...
