This was our first stay at the Rainbow Inn. And it will not be our last. We have been coming to Oneonta since our daughter was a freshman in 2013. We have stayed at another local chain motel. We really didn't like it. I figured let's give this place a shot. I am so glad I did. When we pulled...

Lovely hotel with very clean rooms and great service. Nice lounge/bar area for relaxing. Owners and staff are great. Visited Oneonta fir the first time and was pleasantly surprised and would definitely stay here again.

I typically shy away from motels but this one was actually not too bad. The room was absolutely huge and the bed was quite comfortable. It appeared that the hotel was undergoing a slight renovation. The carpets in the corridor where the rooms were is not flush with the walls and my room (room 1) was not as up to...

We were trying to find a hotel without much success and noticed this hotel a few miles off the Interstate. The hotel was in very nice condition on the outside, but we could tell the buildings were old. We took a chance and were surprised the rooms had been fully updated, were large and included a refrigerator and a small...

Myself and 2 of my children (9yo & 25yo) stayed here in mid August. We were in room 121. We usually stay at the Hampton Inn or the Marriot when we come to town, but they were booked solid, so we were told about this place by the locals. Check in was quick. We were handed a key with a...

My husband and I recently stayed there for one night. We had large room with king size bed. The furniture looked dated and the bed sheet was of poor quality which is something I have not experienced in a long time while staying in hotels or inns. The complimentary breakfast was quite limited. The good thing was the room was...

Rainbow Inn remains my first choice when staying in Oneonta (although I don't normally stay in motels). Very short distance (approx. 1/4-1/2 mile) from Hwy 88 exit, but not readily noticeable from Hwy or exit. Family-owned business. Maria is the usual contact person for registration. She is very helpful and accommodating. Safe and private location but easy access to colleges,...

If you are travelling Rte 88 and need a place to stay over night in Oneonta this is the place. Our room was spacious with a small eating area, frig, microwave, coffee maker and even a little outdoor deck! Looks like it was recently remodeled. There is an on-site bar and small pub style restaurant which was a pleasant surprise....

The Rainbow Inn is my first choice when I travel to Oneonta, NY for business. My family enjoys staying there with me as well. The property is a family-owned motel that is well-maintained and has beautiful grounds/flowers in season. There is the convenience of an easy on and off Highway 80 and an onsite restaurant/bar "My Father's Place". Additionally, about...

We stayed one night while on a road trip to the northeast. Reasonably priced for a holiday weekend. I normally don't like to stay in motels with outside access. I didn't like the fact that they still use the old metal key rather than a magnetic swipe card. But what bothered me most was the fact that there was NO...
