After staying in New York city for two weeks we loved our break at Phoenicia Lodge. The rooms in the motel were big, very clean and we had very quiet nights. It was so nice to sit outside on the little terrace, read or just relax, enjoying the fresh air and thinking about all the people that have stayed here before in...

The Phoenicia Lodge is by far the best cabin I have ever stayed in. From the friendly and warm loving owners to the fine attention detailed motel rooms and cabins. The prices they offer is well worth the stay. I absolutely love being able to come here year round. The facility is so cozy you can come here with friends,...

I stayed here for three nights in June 2012. The positive reviews by dozens of guests correctly describe the charm of this place. Brian and Sara, the owners, are so professional and nice, and they went the extra mile (literally!) to help make my stay enjoyable. My motel room was super-clean, with a modern bathroom, a new digital TV with...

We have been staying here in the winter when we ski at Belleayre for 5 years now and I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Brian and Sara are so friendly and helpful. The rooms are always impeccably clean, whether you stay in a motel room or a suite. We love being able to borrow DVDs to watch at night as well...

What a gem in the Catskills! Not a place for those who demand luxurious, private, terry-clothed and spacious accommodations, the Phoenicia Lodge is for people looking for a simple, nostalgic, cozy place to stay. Each motel room has a roofed entryway. The large-sceen TV provides a modern contrast to the knotty pine paneling. Yes, the walls are thin, but the...

This is a great little place in beautiful upstate New York. There are motel rooms as well as individual cabins. We've stayed in both and will definitely go back. The rooms/cabins are clean and are perfectly outfitted. There is a communal firepit and each cabins has it's BBQ. There are hammocks to relax in and stare at the stars or...

What a sweet, unpretentious place to stay, right in the heart of the Catskills. The young owners Brian and Sara couldn't have been friendlier. The cabins aren't luxurious, but the shower was piping hot and they had a fully functioning fridge, cooker, etc... and a lovely fire pit strung about with hammocks in the trees. Very tranquil, and you can...

Couldn't have asked for a more cosy, peaceful and comfy retreat whilst exploring the Catskills over a long weekend in March. My girlfriend was especially taken by the hammock that was pitched just outside our cabin! And the fact that we had a fire in our lounge area! Beautiful location, friendly and warm owners who were especially welcoming, and a...

Stayed here Dec. 26-28 2011 for a little getaway from the Long Island grind. Cottages are cute and nicely stocked with all the bedding and kitchen equipment you need. Location: The town of Phoenicia, about 2 minutes away, has a couple of cute restaurants and a gas station for all your beer-buying needs. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes...
