Also, the included breakfast was a joke. We could not eat any of things offered and there was a very few choices to begin with. Another thing - we initially arrived an hour early to official check-in time at 3 pm and we were told that if we want to check-in immediately we would have to pay $35 extra per room. We refused and came back after 3 pm and it turned out that 2 of our 6 rooms were not even ready. We asked for the refund as a result, almost jokingly, and, of course, were refused.
Also, the room's card keys stopped working - twice, once at night and once in the morning, so we had to go to reprogram them, but that was the least of our problems.
Overall, our experience was not pleasant at all.
I would never stay at that hotel again, even for free.

2. Cleanliness is OK but there's definitely some repairs that need done like the plumbing in the bathroom, the grab bar in the tub doesn't look very sturdy, the ceiling needs fixing
3. While there's wifi in the lobby, it's not in the rooms.
4 the one double bed was wet under the bedspread. Looked like water.
5 the a/c shuts off too early and so the room doesn't really get cool enough. We had it set at 68 but it shut off around 72 or even higher.
6. There was no kleenex in the room and the front desk said it was on order.
7. The lone coffee cup in the room was dirty. We asked for another, none arrived.
8. The man at the front desk could speak understandable english with an accent.
The property was clean, as was my room. The room was well appointed for a business traveler. The front desk person was polite, friendly, professional and helpful.
To be complete with this review I will add that the breakfast left a lot to be desired. There weren’t any plastic spoons to eat my cereal but coffee and juice were available. I’ve had better continental breakfasts.
There was a washer and dryer available to guests. But the laundry room didn’t have a change machine to operate the machines. The laundry room could have used a waste basket and a wrack to hang clothes.
The indoor pool wasn’t yet opened but it sure looked welcoming.
The room was well appointed with serval amenities: refrigerator, freezer, cabinets (without any dishes or flatware), a single stove top, microwave, a coffee maker with coffee packets, iron and ironing board, hair drier, wifi and a land line phone. The room was tastefully decorated, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. My complaints/reservations were there wasn’t adequate closet space, the dresser drawers were modern and not your typical drawers to unpack as normal and one of my towels had holes in it. (I felt it was a huge oversite by housekeeping.) I was far enough from the main desk that I felt my wifi was a bit slow. Even with all that being said, from a person who lives in motels an average of 40 days a year, I really liked this place and aside all the little things I just mentioned, I will still give the Super 8 Plattsburgh a five-star rating. It a fine, comfortable motel for all of us who travel on a budget and still appreciate a nice place to sleep.

Much too expensive for the quality.

The indoor pool was not clear, not clean, the carpets in the hotel were not vacuum, not cleaned. The towels in our room were not clean. The hotel stinked and there was someone stying at the hotel that had a dog that barked all evening into the night. The clerk never communicated the wifi password to us.
Other amenities (or lack thereof) were not as surprising at the price point (weak fixtures, no remote for TV in room, limited breakfast selection, tissues for napkins, etc.) Cannot in good faith recommend this property.

"Bring your own towels as these ones had yellow stains. Pillows are very old, we were glad we had our own. I wish I had some disinfectant. "Read full review
