Old colonial style Tavern that was formerly a house and home but is now an Inn. Downstairs there was a comfortable seating area with sofas in front of a real log fire. There was also an adjacent lounge for sitting and relaxing, a Tap Room / Bar / dining area and a conservatory dining room called the Greenhouse. The large...

If you need a break from the fast-paced world of take out, texting, and Amazon delivery drones, head over to the Beekman Arms in the heart of Rhinebeck. In continuous operation since 1766, this tavern knows how to make the perfect hot toddy, and offers genuine American ambience that boasts a long history of serving patrons such as George Washington,...

A Late evening catered event in a large room at Rhinebeck's Beekman Arms was very good. Every food items was to my liking, including; nicely-roasted pot roast finished with a flavorful wine and tomato reduction, all the salmon one could eat, mashed potatoes with the requisite 4 lbs of butter :), salads, and delicious crabcakes served over a suspiciously delightful...

The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, and Rhinebeck is beautiful. We stayed in the Delamater property, which is centuries newer than the original building. The room itself was a mixed bag, with a great gas fireplace and full-sized couch, but a bathroom that left much to be desired and a broken fridge. The pub is absolutely fantastic, reasonably priced...

Management response:

Thank you for the feedback Daniel. We do apologize about the fridge and will check it out. We look forward to having your return and staying in the oldest continuously run Inn in America.

This is a charming, historic inn in Rhinebeck, NY. We loved the food and ambiance of the tavern inside, as well as the dining area in a greenhouse (breakfast is served there each morning.) The lobby has a wonderful sitting area with a crackling fire so a winter visit to this inn is wonderful. There are fun, unique shops in...

We went one day early... Perfect. Everything was absolutely delicious and worth every penny. No wonder so many famous people and locals alike rave about it! Fantastic establishment. Magnificent food, historic landmark, and lavish decor. Flawless service.

We stayed at the Dalameter property which was more like a motel than a historic room. No rug on the (fake wood linoleum) floor. Small TV so far from bed you could barely see it. Way overpriced with beat up furniture and uncomfortable bed. The tavern is lovely, but our food was delayed more than an hour and was mediocre....

We visited the Tavern at the Beckmann because we were looking for an authentic New England menu in a surrounding once visited by George Washington. We were here 5 years ago and hesitated to visit again thinking it may not live up to our memories but now the bar is set higher. We loved the butternut squash soup, pot pie...

Wanted to book a room. Website provides no prices. Called. On hold for quite a while. Was steered to room they wanted me to book. Uncomfortable - so we passed on the room. Arrived in Rhinebeck and stopped in for a drink and bite. Lobby furniture old and shabby. Bartender a delight. Waitress, not so much. So much potential wasted...

We have come to this inn for a very long time. We stayed at the Delamater section and were always very comfortable and happy there...until we got a dog...The pet friendly rooms are smaller, have no fireplaces, and are situated next to the parking lot. We feel that we should not be penalized for having a dog, but we accepted...
