We stayed at the Rhinecliff for our 20th anniversary. Everything about our stay was great. First, the room was beautiful! Large, clean, modern, double-tub with whirlpool and rain shower. We stayed in the premier room. We did have a view of the Hudson (not a direct view but it was very good). I can not stress how nice the room... More

The hotel was charming, the staff was friendly and the view from our balcony was stunning. Room was comfortable and well-furnished but expensive. The jazz brunch was nice. For the price, I was expecting a little more: if you want ice, you have to dig it out of a bucket inside a fridge next to the check-in desk and we... More

We stayed over for one night whilst on a road trip through The Hudson Valley on our way to Cape Cod. This hotel is amazing, completely rebuilt and refurbished, Our room over looking the Hudson valley was beautiful with amazing attention to detail especially in the bathroom. Even the position of the bath was considered so that the view out... More

We got the last room available for the Fourth of July. Not a front room, but no matter. Anyone from the friendly Rhinebeck/Rhinecliff community was welcome on the lower patio and we met some lovely residents while we watched Kingston's fireworks explode over the river. Fun. Bed was firm. I used to like firm; age makes it a bit less... More

This is our second visit to this beautiful historic hotel. We stayed in a river view room which has a tremendous view of the river and your own balcony with a table and chairs. We were looking for a cool, unique place for an overnight stay and we definitely found it! All the descriptions are correct ... it really is right on the Hudson, and right next to the train tracks. But don't worry, that just adds to the coolness. This hotel was very thoughtfully renovated and it shows. Cool spaces with amazing views... More

Dear Peter, Thank you so much for your very kind words, I'm so happy you enjoyed our little hotel! We work very hard to give our guests a great time, not to mention of course the five long years we did spend renovating to bring you what you see today, so thank you again, it means everything to us! Loved our stay at the Rhinecliff. The lovely room had a magical feeling and the sounds of the trains and view of the river were perfect while relaxing in the fabulous jacuzzi tub and lounging around drinking wine. So relaxing. We had a GREAT stay, and want to come back time and time again! Breakfasts were yummy and the chinese... More

Loved our large room (302) and spa like bathroom on the top floor with great views of the Hudson River Valley from the private balcony. Bed was extremely comfortable. Train didn't bother us at all. In fact it was fun to watch. The breakfast, included in the price, was over the top. I selected the full English Breakfast (eggs, sausage,... More

This was our first stay at the hotel, and we enjoyed the experience in a spacious comfortable room overlooking the river and the beautiful view. The room was very clean and cozy. We had done our research and knew that the trains came through on a regular basis, but the rooms were fairly soundproof so that we were not bothered... More
