We need relaxing getaway and could not have asked for a better weekend. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, lots of gorgeous flowers. Inside the house is decorated with mint condition antiques and fabulous color. The proprietors were friendly and very accommodating, including their lovable dogie. My partner and I just spent the week before our wedding at the Hardenbergh House and it was one of the nicest bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed at. My husband and I were looking for a romantic bed and breakfast for the weekend and the pictures of Hardenbergh House seemed like it could suit our needs. Unfortunately, the pictures made the "Grand Room" look larger than it was. In fact, it was quite cluttered and small and we had to walk up steep, old steps to reach it.... More

We're sorry that youngprofessor didn't enjoy his stay with us. However, I would like to comment on a few of his observations. We have been very careful not to misrepresent our rooms on the website. The Grand Room measures approximately 240 sq. ft. (not including the bathroom), which is quite large. The Hardenbergh House is NOT haunted. I'm sorry if... More
