Nice quaint hotel in a great downtown location adjacent to the NE Shore of Lake Ontario. Walking distance to downtown includes waterside restaurants, beer garten, and micro brewery. Complimentary breakfast includes pastries, fruit and drinks.

Sackets Harbor is a little off the beaten path but it's in a quiet little town that has a ton of history. One of the problems with many of the hotels in the 1000 Islands region is that they won't let you book a one night stay. A one night stay at this place wasn't a problem. Staff was friendly....

Thanks for staying with us. Perhaps next time you can stay for more than just 1 night.

We didn't even get through our night there, there isn't ac in the building just the rooms- and it barely works. We drove an hour just to go there for the day and night and we checked out 4 hours later. Ridiculous. Emailed the hotel and never received an email back. Spent $220 for 4 hours and we weren't even...

We were embarrassed to hear of your unfortunate experience. As the new manager (2 weeks on the job at the time of your visit), I was determined to look into your situation. The hotel let you down because I was not notified of your experience immediately by the night manager. I was also not informed of your email that you...

Four of us took a day trip to upper NY State from Ontario, Canada. The original plan was to stay in Watertown for the evening, but that place leaves a lot to be desired, with no good offerings downtown at all, so we decided to look into accommodations in Sackets Harbor. This place is perfectly centered in the middle of...

We agree.....Watertown is nice but here, you can look out the window and see the harbor instead of the interstate!

We came up to visit family but this was our first time staying in Sackets Harbor. The Ontario Place Hotel is located within walking distance to all restaurants, shops and war of 1812 historical markers making it a perfect place to stay! the room and the bathroom are dated but not overly so and the room was clean and nicely...

We went to Sackets Harbor for our Anniversary and decided to stay overnight at Ontario Place hotel. The location is right in the business district walking distance to all the Restaurants. The rooms are large, very clean and well maintained. Nice TV's mini fridge and Microwave. The beds were comfortable. This is a well Run Hotel with a family run...

We live not far from this location, but a 2 day celebration of daughters wedding said staying in same village as reception is smart, so we chose the Ontario Place Hotel. We knew some of the great folks that run it, and it made making the choice easier. What I did not know is the comfort, clean, and courteous service...

We went to Sackets Habor for the July 16 Can-Am Festival and we were lucky to find a room at the Ontario Place Hotel, in the middle of the historic district. The hotel is very clean, our room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was well-supplied with all the usual amenities. The front desk managers, Tammy and Tyrone, were...

The hotel is conveniently located. Close walking to the shops, restaurants, battlefield and the visitor centre. Beautiful along the water and marina. Lots to enjoy! The hotel is old and tired and could use some upgrades, the a/c was noisy and the rooms are small. No elevator. The breakfast was store bought and the lobby is very small....

Next time your Anniversary rolls around stay in one of our Jacuzzi suites on the end of the building they are large and have great views of the harbor. With breakfast places like "Tin Pan Galley" and "The Brew Pub" on weekends, serving breakfast, we try to cater to the people that have to eat on the go with our...

Trip Advisor rated this the best place to stay and it's easy to see why. The room was clean and hospitable. The "continental" breakfast was mediocre at best since it was made up of store-bought dwarf cinnamon buns and some type of granola bars. The coffee was pretty good, though.

Thanks for your kind words.... Our breakfast is only for those who have to eat on the go because we try to send all our guests to "Tin Pan Galley" which has the best breakfast in the region. Or on weekends to "The Brew Pub's" breakfast buffet.
