We stayed in the farm house and had the wonderful opportunity to have the place completely to ourselves. While our room was on the first floor, I would recommend the second floor in the event you are with other guests. REALLY clean, and unlike other B & B's as your food is not prepared but you have a FULLY stocked...

It may be a bit off the highway, but it's worth the drive if you like it quiet...and if you love home-baking. We were fascinated by the Mill's history and I enjoyed walking around the gardens on the property. You may have to carry your luggage across the street so plan to travel with a day bag as there isn't...

INn by the Mill is unlike any B & B I've ever encountered. My husband and I had a really nice time and felt very much at home the whole time. We have already recommended it to family! Check-In/Welcome Process: Upon check-in Ron gave us thorough directions and a map to get to Cooperstown, which was the main reason for...

We stayed in the Haugs House - an 1800's hog house converted into a one room cabin located next to the waterfall. The cabin is on the national historic registry. It's decor (pigs) was a bit kitsch if you are not into pigs, which I'm not, but it actually worked in the room. It was one of the most romantic...

My husband and I were in town for our niece's wedding and, alas, could only stay for one night. The amenities are superb with a hot tub overlooking a babbling stream. Even though winter had made an unexpected return, we enjoyed sitting in the steaming tub and listening to the rushing water. My husband has promised a return for a...

Your innkeepers, Judy and Ron, are experienced, professional hosts. Rooms are individually decorated (and beautiful!), beds are ridiculously comfortable, and the sheer quantity of food provided--including all sorts of gourmet desserts, pies, cakes, etc.--is staggering. Judy makes these herself, fresh, for every guest. Ron is your hands-on source of history and general info. And there's so much history! The inn...

This is out 2nd visit after 8 years. You can go back and have the same wonderful experience. Quiet setting, history (mill and the route on the Underground railroad) Owners so gracious. And the homemade desserts. The Wheel Mills are to die for. good location to Cooperstown with a scenic ride down there. do not overlook this B&B.

Very, very clean and generously stocked, the Cliffside Cottage was the perfect choice for our party of 4 adults for Hall of Fame weekend. The one bathroom is located very conveniently, so sharing was just fine. The baked goods were delicious, and the other food provided saved us from eating out a few times. The owners were gracious and inconspicuous....

We decided to get away for a 2nd honeymoon...WHAT a sweet spot! As it was the winter, we only seem to be able to access the Cliffside Cottage which was really perfect. It is a 2 bedroom cabin out in the woods and overlooking the stream bed with an outdoor Jacuzzi tub. The cottage was extremely private as was the...

This is our second stay at the Cliffside Cottage, a home connected to INn by the Mill. It is a private home, well stocked fridge, hot tub, fire place, deck overlooking a creek. It is so quiet and private. The sweets are to die for and the owners are very nice. Ron is a talker and gives lots of personality...
