We've been camping at Rollins almost every year for the last 15 years. We loved it and still do but things have been changing. Fish Creek was the traditional RV heavy part of the park while Rollins was the low key tent camping part of the park. This past year there were more RV's, big ones with generators than every...

We were lucky enough to get a waterfront site at the last minute for our summer camping trip! What a beautiful, peaceful place! It was our first time visiting that area and that campground. Rollins Pond has risen to the top of our list of favorite campgrounds in NYS.

Rollins Pond was for years a hidden gem. You had to drive through the much busier Fish Creek Campground in order to get back to Rollins Pond. If you are camping at one of its furthermost recesses it will take about 30 minutes (if you abide by the 15 mph limit, and you really must.) to drive out to the...

This campground is very quiet compared to its sister campground Fish Creek Pond. The sites are very big and most have a lot of privacy. 80% of the sites are right on the water which is nice for swimming and kayaking/canoeing. Also very clean.

We had a wonderful time. We had a lovely camp site with lots of privacy and on the water with our own tiny little beach. Our site was no. 91. You first have to drive through the other campsite which is a very different set up. Many smaller campsites with no privacy and more noise. Rollin ponds is quiet, but...

Most sites are beautiful here, with plenty of trees for privacy between the neighbors. Our site had a great view of the lake and we could put our kayaks right at lakes edge within our site. Restrooms were very clean and the showers were nicer than we expected with plenty of pressure and hot water.

I love this campground. It's pretty far off the beaten path and very secluded. You actually have to drive all the way through Fish Creek Pond Campground to get to the Rollins Pond Campground entrance. The sites are beautiful and about 80% are right on the water. Most of the water sites have a little sand/gravel beach, perfect for putting...

Stayed here for one night. There are hundreds of campsites! Many are right along the waters edge. Beautiful and picturesque. You can look at the map before booking online to see which ones are also booked and try to avoid being near other people, if you are looking for the most serene and quiet experience. Also note where the bathrooms...

We just returned from our 3rd annual Rollins Pond camp trip and each year gets better. Most sites are on the beautiful non-motorized (boat) lake. The bathrooms are standard campground restrooms but the showers are more upgraded with great water pressure. You can rent canoes and kayaks and trucks come around a couple of times a day selling wood, ice...

we had site a21-large site on the water as most are, no hookups in this park but free showers, dump station. You need to drive all the way through fish creek pond campground to get to rollins-just as well too because rollins sites are bigger and more private. Beautiful forest cover-no cell signal or wifi which is fine by me....

“Rollins is long. If you get tired, and want to paddle Floodwood, I recommend sites in the 175+ range as they are closer to the Floodwood.”

“"A" sites and sites on the peninsula that juts out west from the main road and loops back (the main road turns north and goes by the showers) are the most private and quiet.”

“The Rollins Pond sites are shady. Fishcreek sites 8 to 15 or so seemed to have too many trees for an RV to be parked comfortably, so if you pitch a tent there, you might actually not feel crowded.”
