Detailed Reviews
Stayed here while attending a concert at SPAC (which is exactly 1.2 miles to the main entrance). Room was clean. Great price. Could use a little more light in the room for reading.
Manager was very helpful with directions. The location, although seemed rather remote at first, is close enough to everything important.
This was my first time to Saratoga Springs and I was pleasantly surprised by the classic elegance of this town. The people are very friendly, too.

the adirondack in is the cozy quiet hidden treasure very close to the strip in saratoga springs. we have gone there now for the past 5 years. there are many nice things about the adirondack inn, including the morning breakfast, barbeques, clean rooms pool and grounds. there are free movie rentals and the front desk is always open. . the prices are also fair. There is transportation to and from saratoga raceway. we highly recommend the adorondak inn. See you in august tom. Ben and Sue I. Brooklyn, n.y.

My fiancee and I go to Saragoga Springs whenever we want to get away. However, we have a dog and as dog friendly as this town can be it's still somewhat of a challenge finding a nice place, which will take us and our dog. We usually stay at union Gables, which is a great place to stay, but they were all sold out so we decided to stay here. I was pleasantly surprised by this place. It was clean, cute and comfortable. It was so great that we stay here whenever Union Gables is unavailable, and we have no problem with this place. However, we took a cabin one weekend, and that was a huge mistake. The cabins are awful and dirty with spider webs all over the place. It was actually a pretty traumatizing experience. If you stay there do not take a cabin, but the other motel rooms are great for the price. We usually go on the weekends and there is usually a lady there who seems pretty unhappy with life. That being said the service is poor, but I guess you get what you pay for. If you want to save money and stay in a cute motel, this is the place to stay. I do recommend it, and I will be going back.

This run down place is $350+ per night. It isn’t worth $50 per night. The rooms are poor. The bed is a cheap mattress on a slab of wood. The sliding back door lock didn’t work. They stick a piece of wood in it to make sure it can’t be opened. The front door lock won’t stay unlocked. Pity the guest who walks out without his keys. Some of the help were very nice. However when we checked in it took 15 minutes for some of the help to find the guy who was supposed to be working the front desk. Breakfast comes with the room. It is served in a small screened bungalow next to the pool. It is filled with bees and the bees love the food.
I’ve stayed in many hotels and motels in my lifetime. In my opinion this was the WORST!

It is a fun atmosphere if you have a big group staying at this property, lots of outdoor places to hang out and grill. The rooms need some serious updating, the bath towels look like they've been around as long as the inn has and our room had 5 different odor absorbers and air fresheners placed throughout in an attempt to cover up the musky smell. After pulling the comforter off the bed to go to sleep we discovered that a piece of hard candy had melted onto the sheets and pillow case(see photos). When we went to the front desk we were given sheets to change the bed ourselves and were told by the clerk that he didn't know how to make a bed up/change sheets. Upon check out, Tom (a manager), explained that no one who works there walks around with hard candy in their mouth and it was most likely our fault, we'd be receiving no discount. Will not be going back and would encourage others to find somewhere else to stay when visiting Saratoga.

We eagerly anticipate our return to the Adirondack Inn each August because we just love the racing excitement of Saratoga and the comfort and friendly, relaxed atmosphere of the Adirondack Inn.
The owner (Morris) and manager (Peggy) personally oversee every aspect of the motel's operation, ensuring that their guests lack none of the amenities that assure comfort and cleanliness throughout their stay. Win or lose at the races, it is always a wonderful treat to return to the Adirondack, sit outside or in the gazebos, and share stories about the day's events with other other guests.
We would not think of staying anywhere else In Saratoga!

We booked a room here and when we pulled up and saw it, we called in the parking lot to cancel immediately. We didn't even go 10 ft deep into the parking lot before we made the decision. The guy working behind the desk was beyond rude. We ended up eating $111.00 for the cost of the room which isn't even my complaint EXCEPT the woman said if we decided to stay there was NO early ck in and that it was going to take a long time to clean the room since the people in the room before us had several dogs with a grossed out look on her face....ummm......EVERY ROOM is pet friendly and you didn't tell me this????? I suffer from severe dog allergies and when I asked what would happen if someone was allergic, the man shrugged his shoulders and had nothing to say. I have 2 words. UNPROFESSIONAL & GRUBBY. Ended up booking a room at the Hilton who checked us in right away. I learned a lesson with this one. Always go there before booking. I would strongly advise you to rethink booking a room here....unless you want to leave sick and be in the presence of a rude & clueless staff. Worst $111.00 buck I ever spent.

Quite simply - this is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Made a reservation for a cottage well in advance of the Labor Day weekend over the phone and was assured that we had three nights booked. The confirmation was to be sent via mail, they took our home address and credit card information but when I called to confirm on the morning of they had "no paper trail" of the reservation. We had been looking forward to this for months, and the hotel was not willing to help us in any regard.

I and many umpires attended a weekend at the Inn. As soon as myself and my roommate entered the room it had a STRONG smell in bleach. Within an hour I started to get stuffy. When we return to the room for the evening both of us started to cough and started to feel like flu like symptoms. Neither of us were able to sleep trying to to turn on the fan. We both up all night coughing. Once we went to the fields and talked to other umps, numerous other had said they had the same experience with their rooms. One guy said he had a sign on the wall stated that that had a mold issue. Another said he had mold all around his sink and window. After we went back to the room for lunch we started immediately to cough and immediately got stuffy again. i brought it up to a instructor and he turned to another instructor and said, boy there is another complaint. The grounds are very nice. This needs to be addressed IMMEDIATELY. Dave H.

My friend and I booked a week in early August of 2015 to enjoy the races. We had been coming here a number of years for the same one week period. The prior two years we had noticed a gradual decline in the overall upkeep of the premises. In particular, although we were in a newer unit, there was a noticeable "smell" or "odor" when we checked into our room. We immediately brought this to management's attention. The response was to increase the intensity of the "air freshener," which only made matters worse. We "aired" the place out by opening the door and the the glass sliding door, and left it that way while in the room. And we threw out the freshener, which only intensified the problem. I suspect there is an incipient mold issue. Apparently, the long-time owner,Morris, sold the place in early October, and a new team is now in place. It was very apparent to me during last summer's visit that no one seemed to care and Morris--a prominent former local judge--had already negotiated a sale. It showed in the lack of interest that the staff displayed for the guests and the deteriorating facility. This place costs 250.00 plus taxes per night during racing season--it is not in any way worth it. Like many things at the SPA during season...buyer beware...you are getting ripped off. A huge disappointment and the formerly courteous staff suddenly turned sullen. Now I know why. I would not stay here again.

This time of year I would recommend a cab...even once you get into the park there can be quite a bit of walking. Yes, you can get a cab.
