We stayed there and it is different..we didn't have maid service everyday...for a weeks stay we had clean towels once...the top floor is hot at night....we also had to bring our own garbage to the dumpster...across the street...worth $300 a week...no....and they say free Wi-Fi well if we knew the code maybe....just odd...very odd....

We know that you wrote this review in 2011, but we wanted to let you know that we're still concerned about what we read in your review. We know we have a very low weekly staying price, but we're disappointed that you left thinking that the maid service was anything less than quality, as that is not the norm here unless noted to you specifically. We're also very sorry that you didn't find the Wi-Fi code. Please know that we would never intentionally hide it from you and would've definitely let you know what it was if you had called. That being said, we hope you come back, especially if you need a good stop for a few nights. Thanks, Richard, Owner, and Jennifer, Manager

My wife and I stayed for a week mid-October 2019 and found lodging here to be clean, comfortable, convenient, and reasonably priced. Being owned and operated by locals, the service was friendly and very helpful. The staff went out of their way to address any request. I was even able to have them adjust their housekeeping slightly around our travel schedule to area attractions. Accommodations were appreciated, especially the kitchenette (fridge, icemaker, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, sink). WiFi worked very well and the cable service on a large flat screen was just great for evening movies! Dick, at the front desk, is an awesome guy and I really enjoyed talking with him about the goings on in the area. You just don't get this kind of experience at the larger hotel chains! We visit Saratoga for a week a year and this will be our choice for lodging from now on. For visitors enjoying Saratoga needing clean comfortable reasonably priced accommodations to spend the night after the day's activities, staying here is a good choice.

My daughter and son in law were in Saratoga Springs and decided they'd like to stay. Most of the hotels were either booked or charging $450 and up. They found this place on TripAdvisor and Yelp and called. They had availability and it was $200, so they booked it. When they got there they were very disappointed, no, make that disgusted. The room was scary, smelly, dirty and dingy. They refused to stay and asked for a refund which they received. They said the desk clerk didn't seemed surprised at all.
They drove a bit further and stayed at the Holiday Inn in Albany, for $145.
