Detailed Reviews
Went to Saratoga for a weekend getaway. Was a really nice time! The Inn had rustic appeal and was a very nice place to stay. Everything on the main strip was within a quick walk down the street and everyone we encountered working there was very nice. Very affordable considering we booked with only a few days notice. When we go back, we would most likely stay here again! Thank you

I want to thank Michelle, Mike and Patrick (barman) for making my stay at The Inn at Saratoga so comfortable. I was there for four nights; they made me feel at home, provided excellent information and always made time for a smile and a warm greeting.
My room had an ante room with a desk and small table which were great for setting up my computer as well as to organize tourist brochures and face masks! Be aware that the wall outlets are half and half! On most one-half run off the wall switch and the other is constant current. Mike helped me with that one!
The rooms were impeccably clean and the four poster bed very comfortable. There was a choice of pillows; I found my preferred and set the rest aside.
My only suggestion is for the hotel to use this pandemic period of less travel to make an investment in new air conditioners.

My husband & I stayed the weekend for my 30th birthday. We stayed in a king room on the south side, 2nd floor. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. We loved the antique furnishings. We had 3 south-facing windows. It was 7 degrees out when we arrived, and our room as a bit cold the first night. In the morning we discovered one window was stuck open a crack, but they fixed it for us right away and it was soon warm and cozy. The hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful. Beautiful (& complimentary) breakfast buffet each morning. Coffee, tea, and water available in the lobby all day long which was awesome as I am a big coffee drinker. We loved the history of the hotel and the beautiful dining/sitting room and bar with the gas fireplace and velvet armchairs. Perfect place to read during the snowstorm we had on Saturday & Sunday! There was music when we arrived Friday night and Saturday night as well--even though it was still snowing hard. We didn't order from the food menu, but I did order a cocktail. They were out of the one I ordered as well as my husband's drink order, so I ended up getting a different one. I ended up ordering the Serpico which was very strong. That is my only complaint. Will certainly be back as we love the town and the hotel. Worth a bit of extra money to stay in such a unique place vs. your average Best Western.

The fine line between historic, old & tired is unfortunately reflected in this property. I am sure this was the epitome of style 100 years ago but has been ignobly aloud to decline and overdue for a renovation.
The price point, is very competitive for being located in downtown Saratoga Springs and if you are a lover of fine historic wood furnishings, you will be pleased.
We elected to stay in the cottage. A brighter larger space with a modern bath & whirlpool tub.

This was our 4th stay at the Inn. The rooms are all reasonably priced, except during the racing season when the price of every hotel skyrockets. Some people may find the furnishings old fashioned, but they're very comfortable, especially the beds. We were upgraded to the king suite, which was enormous. All this and breakfast is included, too. The bar is a great place to hang out regardless of the time of day. The staff is very attentive. We'll keep coming back. I can't think of a better recommendation than that.

Our first room was pretty bad (smelly and worn) so we asked to be moved and it was much nicer. This is a place to lay your head and it was perfectly fine in the new room. This is not a place for romance or a destination in and of itself. It's a little out of the main walking part of Saratoga, and the views are of the parking lots. The bar was absolutely jumping, with live (very pleasant) music at 8PM...didn't go on too late, and the to-go coffee and breakfast in the morning was solid. If you need a place to stay that's not too expensive, clean and convenient - this is a good choice. But don't come for the B&B experience or charming ambiance.

I thought we were going to stay in a beautiful historic inn and asked for their best and larger rooms. One for my husband and I and one for my parents.
The carpet in the bridal suite had very loose carpet- you tripped on the wrinkles.
The king suite across has wall paper that was falling off and lights that needed light bulbs.
The curtains are falling apart as well.
The shower had visible mold on ceiling and on tile. I could smell it.
My husband ordered dinner and his scallops were not cleaned and the lobster had pieces of shell in it. He did not complain as we were hosting guests and did not want to make a spectacle.
At check out I told the staff that my room had mold and she said sorry.
We will not stay there again or recommend it.
Historic can and should mean beautiful not run down.
The music in the bar was awesome. The furniture was gorgeous in the bedrooms.

+1
First time at the Inn, it is a stately building, a flashback to another era. The Inn has been renovated but kept in balance to leave as much of the old charm as possible. The rooms are relatively big, the bed big. It was late November and the heating in the house worked well. Breakfast was continental, but sufficient, with coffee, toasted bagel, butter, jam, fruit and yogurt. The dinner was in the ball room, with musical presentation, which was a treat. The room has a mini fridge, enough to keep some cheese and wine for night time snack. The service was friendly throughout. The parking is safe and right in front. The location of the Inn is only few minutes from shopping street, past a church with lovely Glockenspiel. There was no room service on a 2 night stay, but didn't ask why not, maybe that's how it is right now.

Thank you marathon235 for your great review! When we restore the Inn we want to make sure our guests are comfortable but feel as if they are in historic Saratoga! We are so glad to hear you enjoyed dinner in our Ballroom with live music; we have really great local musicians here twice a week currently. We hope the next time you are in Saratoga you will think of us again!

My wife treat me to a few days in Saratoga for my birthday. The Inn was quaint, a semblance of days gone by. Staff was very friendly and responsive. The stay included breakfast which was tasty and more than adequate; the quiche and pastries were excellent. Best of all was happy hour at the bar; the bartender, Patrick, knew how to make drinks... he made a great Old Fashion. The white wine was LeChablisienne, a great entry level white burgundy! We also had a charcouterie platter, consisting of a large chunk of imported cheese, meat, fruit etc. Very reasonable and a great start to an evening out. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Very nice hotel with character close to Congress park. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the patio and visiting Victoria pool (hotel provided tickets). The hotel clean and the concierge polite. We would stay here again.

Does the Inn have a common area where families can gather to play cards? Are there suites available?
there is a area on the first floor that they serve breakfast in with plenty of tables.
They do not. They are pet free.
Yes certain rooms are
I didn't see the suite myself, but I would assume so. You would be best to contact the Inn at Saratoga directly.
