First off we thought the room was a tad small, but it turned out just fine.
There were four of us, two adults & two kids. We had a handicap room because my grandson is is special needs. The shower was wonderful, except the water splashed out into the bathroom, necessitating using bath towels to absorb & keep it under control. Housekeeping brought us extra towels.
The hotel is upscale, with a grand lobby, a very nice bar and a huge dining/ breakfast room. Breakfast was outstanding, with a made to order cook. I thought the quality of the food served was first rate.
I would recommend this hotel.

Lovely stay for two nights in September 2020. The hotel was spot on for cleanliness and service. The room was spotless and all public areas of the hotel were clean and constantly monitored for guests leaving and arriving.
The food service was also done quite well.Seating was available either indoor and outdoor. Tables were properly spaced, and constantly cleaned they were then labeled as sanitized. Chair backs were also cleaned by workers who wore both gloves and masks.
In lieu of a self service buffet they had one worker behind glass wearing mask and gloves who served food upon request over the counter to you. It was quick clean and efficient and well thought out. Every self serve station for coffee juice etc had a box of gloves , wipes and hand sanitizer nearby.
Two areas for improvement : Someone to assist getting luggage in and out of the hotel with the carts (no one there to offer assistance). Checking out and dropping room key cards in an open box felt a bit unsecured.
Would stay again . Great job handling the Covid 19 guidelines well done Embassy Suites.

Covid prep of the room was very good! I sanitized over all high touch surfaces and found not a speck of dirt! That made me happy.
The sofa in the suite is not comfortable at all to sit on, nor was it comfortable for the kids to sit on. I thought the rooms should have a better sofa!
The morning breakfast was Covid compliant by the staff standing behind the counter serving the food. This was excellent. What we didn't like were the people cleaning the tables coming over every time we put a fork down to ask if they could clear our plate. Please have them stay away until people leave the table!
The food in the Diamond Restaurant was very good. We enjoyed every employee except for one bartender, Jeanette. The servers don't like working with her either. Apparently she confronts people and isn't very pleasant. She came over to our table to argue about a drink. Totally inappropriate. We just rolled our eyes as did the server. Maybe someone should tell her the customer is always right.
The location of the property was central. The view from the room was not good. A lower end area. Hotel is in a strip mall. Parking is not that convenient.
The staff definitely makes the experience! Housekeeping brought us fresh towels, etc. every day! While there is no housekeeping service due to Covid, they drop off anything needed and empty trash from the hallway.
Again, the property is sparkling clean. Very impressive during Covid. They obviously take it very seriously!

It get one star for location and another for great staff. That is all this property has going for it. I know with the pandemic things have been tough but when you are operating a hotel at least make the room ready for guest. The room with stifling hot and humid upon arriving. Called down to the desk and they did send someone to look at it. Maintenance agreed that the room was not ready for guest. No microwave in the room and when you have to order food to be delivered and reheated food this is a problem BUT when we went out the next day WITH THE DO NOT DISTURB SIGN on the door we returned to find a microwave in the room. Now please know we had not had the chance to Say anyone about the lack of a microwave to the staff so someone knew this room was not ready. They had no cooked to order breakfast (but did have snacks for happy hour, go figure) instead offered prepackaged over- processed egg sandwiches and fake yogurt w/artificial sweeteners and an unripe Apple. Thanks anyway that’s a hard pass. Oh and did I mention that the washcloths all had holes in them and the shower curtain was too small for the tub so bathroom flood! 1 packet of coffee for the 1980s coffee maker, this was a 2 room suite that sleeps 4 but we’ll leave one coffee packet for you. Basically the upshot is: do not believe any of the hotels photos the rooms and bathrooms look nothing like them. It’s ya an old tired hotel that happens to be in a good location.

Wanted to go away but feel safe and this hotel definitely did the trick. At check in everyone was wearing a mask and keeping 6ft away. Once got to hotel room there was a Lysol sticker saying the room was cleaned once we broke seal and entered you can smell the cleanliness. My ocd still cleaned and not one dust could be seen on my clorox wipes. They did not clean daily and o was ok with that. I did ask for more towels and it came up super quick. The breakfast was good. It was the same every day except Friday (we were there Mon-Fri). It was buffet style but was served to you. There was also continental breakfast that was sealed. There diamond restaurant was excellent. Safe precautions and the food was deeeeelicious. Fitness room closed but that’s ok. Pool was open. Hester was broken so kids barely used. So close to Broadway which is the main drag. Would definitely return and recommend.

We visited the Embassy Suites in August. It was a very enjoyable experience. The hotel was clean, and met Covid protocols. They had hand sanitizer dispensers everywhere, social distanced markers, and masks required in shared spaces. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable with servers serving the guests instead of guests serving themselves with outdoor seating.
The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Two queen beds in a closed door bedroom, with a living room, dining table, and mini fridge. Beds with super comfortable and the room was equipped with everything we needed.
The hotel staff was super helpful, informative, friendly, and accommodating. The parking was free, and the hotel was a short walk to the main street of town.

The room and overall facility were clean. Many stickers and signs displaying how they clean/sanitize the room and the areas throughout the hotel. Social distancing stickers are labeled around but no designated staff is enforcing that. Overall, most guests just simply follow and try to be responsible. All staffs are very professional and friendly, including the chefs and cleaning lady during the complimentary breakfast hours. I had an enjoyable and relaxing stay with my family.

My wife and i stayed in a king premium the fourth floor and it was very nice. the room was very clean and comfortable. We loved the seal on the room door that identified it had been sanitized. We used the pool every day and never saw anyone else in it while we were there. The breakfast buffet was the best i have ever had the same for the the evening happy hour. The location was ideal. I rode my bicycle to the state park a few times. The city of Saratoga was also a pleasant surprise with almost everyone wearing masks and social distancing We even found the Stromolites

Have stayed at this hotel a few times before. Last time hotel was good, restaurant terrible. Because of Covid - 19 restaurant was closed so I thought I would be ok was I wrong. Checked in about 1pm given keys to room no problem. Came back about 9 pm went upstairs key would not work,went to front desk changed key went to room that was occupied by a very surprised gentleman. Went back down given another room. Next day came back about 9 pm room not made up. Called front desk and asked for towels, coffee pods and creamers. Day three housekeeping did not replenish toilet paper, or tissue. Day five housekeeping did not replenish coffee again. When I asked about points reimbursement I was told I need to speak to Hilton. I know for a fact any points for compensation comes from the hotel. I’ve been a Diamond member for 13 years in a row and this is not acceptable. Wake up Hilton, Marriott Would be glad to have my business. When in Saratoga again will be going somewhere else.

We stayed here for 2 nights during a New England road trip and it was definitely one of the best hotels. From the common areas to the rooms, the facility is extremely clean and well maintained. Rather than a minimalist hotel room, these suites had a wet bar area, living room, and very spacious bathroom. We also benefited from free breakfast (including custom omelet station) and happy hour each night with wine/beer & treats included at no charge. The staff were amazing. From the front desk, servers, bartenders, and managers to the housekeeping team - everyone welcomed us with a warm smile. We will stay here again the next time we are visiting Lake George and Saratoga Springs.
