I had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs for the 2nd year. While the hotel is older, it is meticulously kept, with plenty of staff to accommodate your every need. The buffet breakfast is amazing with so many choices, along with a chef to make omelets from scratch. The pool( both indoor and outdoor) are so welcoming after a day at the track. A lovely bar, as well as an outdoor fire pit offer a great place to relax and unwind. The location is ideal to walk the town, and a free shuttle is available for further destinations. I would highly recommend this hotel.

For the fourth time I was staying in this hotel. After a very long travel I was welcomed by Dan from the Frontdesk. Dan made me feeling very welcome and after such a long travel a super friendly and professional welcome is fantastic ! The room was good and clean as I was aspected. The Housekeeping treated me very good and they understand their job. I want to say that for me Dan from the Frontdesk is the employee of the year, but I really don’t want to forget the Housekeeping. Fantastic location. Clean, comfortable hotel. Restaurant/bar on site but also a short walk to bustling downtown with many restaurants, shops, pubs, etc. Complimentary shuttle was a tremendous benefit for horse racing fans and diners alike. We’ll be back!

A welcoming lobby, good location and appealing looking restaurant in the lobby and convenient access to downtown and its many offerings. Check in was friendly and pleasant. Upon checking in we were advised that housekeeping is by request only. Is this the new normal post-Covid? When traveling and paying to stay at a hotel I don’t believe basic housekeeping services are asking too much. As it happens, we requested additional towels from the front desk and after waiting roughly 2.5 hours I looked outside out room and the requested towels were on the floor of the public hallway. Not only is that poor service but it is fairly disgusting that towels be placed in a hallway that countless people walk on. The room was another disappointment. The carpet had clearly not been vacuumed, the chair and ottoman were stained and filthy, the toilet is not well anchored to the floor and rocks when sat on, broken tiles in the shower, shower head squirts water from the threads connecting to the wall and more. I travel frequently and understand that properties experience challenges and perfection is an unreasonable expectation but this hotel seems to have focused on what can be seen prior to checking in and ignoring the rooms. Our room appears to be years past any reasonable update cycle. Sorry Holiday Inn but I will not be returning.

My friend and I stayed here during a very popular weekend (Dave Mathews was playing) and were charged over $700 and $600 for our rooms respectively. For one night. If this isn’t hotel price gouging I don’t know what is. I travel a lot for work and this was an absolute joke. The room smelled of smoke, the bathroom was disgusting and the curtains didn’t close completely. Shameful.

Thank you for your candid feedback, Caitlinelliott84. We are grateful for the constructive criticism. Hotel room rates in the Saratoga Springs area certainly increase a great deal during high demand dates (such as the Dave Matthews Band performances at SPAC). That said, there is no excuse for the room to have had an unpleasant odor or for the bathroom to be anything other than pristine. We will certainly address those issues with our housekeeping team. I can assure you that your experience was an aberration and is absolutely not the norm at this hotel. Saratoga Springs is a wonderful area to visit all four seasons and you will find that the hotel room rate decreases substantially when there are not special events in town (and outside of the racing season). Please choose to stay again this fall so that you may enjoy all that Saratoga has to offer (at a far lesser room rate!).

Kim the manager went above and beyond to accommodate our large hockey group that stayed the weekend, as well as make sure us hustling parents got fed! Matt was also terrific, another manager. A huge group of 12 year old boys and exhausted parents were very pleased. Their professionalism and helpfulness was extremely appreciated.

This hotel is a stone's throw from lovely Congress Park (is even an entrance to the park from the parking lot), and so just a short stroll to the main attractions of lovely Broadway (shops, bookstores, cafes, bars, restaurants, art galleries). The indoor pool is warm, clean, large enough for laps and open long hours - yeah! Rooms are clean, beds and bedding (including great pillows) are very comfy. Being an IHG rewards member, I was pleasantly surprised to have been upgraded to a suite - woo-hoo! Everyone seems to like their job, and do it well. We will be back!

Very clean and dog friendly hotel with restaurant and bar on location. EV chargepoint across the street. Staff are professional and friendly. We stayed in a king suite on the 4th floor which had jacuzzi bathtub and separate full shower. A.C. was great. Restaurant and Bar hours were exceptionally good.

We spent 2 nights at the holiday inn. The staff were pleasant and helpful offering us free race track tickets at check in which we gladly accepted. I love that they offer a shuttle to and from the race track and to local restaurants even though it is in walking distance of town. They have a nice lobby area that made it easy for our group of 6 to meet up and a bar that was open late which we visited after dinner before going up. The only downfall was the room. Although the bed was comfortable the room is dated and a little musty. Update the rooms and this place is a home run.

Beautiful hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Pet friendly with reasonable pet fee. They even provide food bowls which we didn’t need but it was still nice and made us and our pet feel welcome. Located right in town. Stopped there on way home but hope to come again as a destination.

I don't recall a hot tub, but can't be sure..they have both an indoor and outdoor pools and hours are typical for most hotels, I think open around 6 and close at 10:00 but check with hotel...by the way, I never had had a problem with hotel hot tubs, but that's my personal experience.
There are more places to choose from in the Saratoga Springs area.
