The rooms are the cleanest, the cook is the greatest, and the price is great.. I love Aunt Betty's place... very homey... not "fancy, shmancy". If you book it here, you will get the greatest "family" atmosphere available in the area... Aunt Betty.. "she IS family"..

We really enjoyed this welcoming place in Port Jefferson! It is super clean, cozy and nicely decorated. The warmth, generosity and kindness of the owner is remarkable. She is extremely kind and she will make you feel very comfortable.Me and my husband stayed there for a month and we highly recommend this place! If we make it back to Long Island,...

Rooms were clean, spacious and homey and Betty is a warm & welcoming person. Breakfasts were great, something different each day, including a little extra such as black berry pudding and other treats (who needs meat or jam when you are offered a special treat?) Thank you Betty

Room 3 had bathroom down the hall at the top of the stairs. We do not consider that "private". The breakfast was spartan - no meat, juice, jam or jelly, etc. Only enough put out for small plate each person. Overall very clean.

I was in town with my old college roommate this past August to visit other college friends in the Port Jeff/Central Islip/Huntington area and we had a hard time finding a hotel reasonably priced on Long Island. Search no more! Aunt Betty's B&B was worth the money! It was quiet, we had AC, and she provides a very homey environment!...

Why stay at the Holiday Inn or area hotels if you are visiting Stony Brook area? Had alot of work to prep on my trip this week but business was made enjoyable by the comfy room and pleasant stay at Aunt Betty's. Maybe it was the soak in the big garden tub or the yummy snacks outside the bedroom door...

It was as though it was our own home. We arrived a few hours before having to attend a wedding in the area. Betty was on the way our so the lovely home was basically ours! There are three guest rooms: #1 is enormous with a pretty elaborate bathroom; #2 and #3 are pretty identical, although #3 doesn't have an...

If you are looking for comfort, convenience and squeaky clean accommodations, look no further. Aunt Betty's offers all of the above at a very reasonable rate. Betty is truly of the most genuine, no nonsense individuals that you will meet and you just might find yourself spending a good portion of your vacation exchanging stories with her over the breakfast...
