Aunt Betty's Bed and Breakfast is significantly better than staying in a hotel or motel. Not only is Aunt Betty charming and extremely helpful with directions, etc, but her accomodations make you feel like you are in a nicer version of your own home. We stayed in Room 1 for two nights, and I haven't slept so well in ages!... More

I was looking for accommodations for my parents and myself in the Port Jefferson area. Aunt Betty’s was a terrific alternative as we were looking for something different from the standard hotel chain. The B&B is an extension of Betty, welcoming, warm and friendly. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. The breakfast is cooked by Betty and is super! I... More

My wife and I returned to New York to visit family over the Easter Holiday. Looking to avoid the typical batch of crazy served with every family gathering, we booked a room at Aunt Betty's due to all of the positive reviews. We were absolutely delighted with our stay. Not only were the rooms adorable, they were immaculate, had their... More

What a great place to spend a couple of nights or a month!!! Aunt Betty's place is a museum of wonderful stuff and Betty herself is full with amazing conversation. Breakfast at Aunt Betty's feels like home, she will be telling you the best stories, while cooking you the BEST crispy french toast. The rooms are so cute and cozy.... More

Cozy is an excellent word to describe Aunt Betty's B&B. It is very clean and I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting Stony Brook University or the town of Port Jefferson vacinity. Aunt Betty was a delight to chat with over a delicious breakfast. My husband and I plan on visiting again this summer.

Aunt Betty has welcomed us with a lot of information on sights and advices on where to eat/buy etc. Best points: - Homecooked, delicious and generously-sized breakfast (á la carte, you can decide the day before) - Our room (nr 1) was spacious with a big, light bathroom with king-sized bathtub and extra shower. - The location is convenient: close... If you like staying at a B&B instead of an impersonal hotel, you will love Aunt Betty's. We stayed in room one, which was large and comfy. Bed is queen sized, and we are used to a king, so it felt a bit small, but it was comfortable. Breakfast and conversation were a wonderful addition.

I've stayed at Aunt Betty's many times and have always been impressed with the charm and comfort of the B & B. The rooms are cozy and well decorated and Aunt Betty's breakfast is fantastic! The best part about staying here, though, is definitely Aunt Betty's warmth, caring attention and dedication to producing the best experience possiible for her guests.... More

Stayed at Aunt Betty's in late September while on business trip. All the good comments I read on Trip Advisor are true. The location was great, near Port Jefferson and I enjoyed my stay and talking with Aunt Betty. For my next stay at Aunt Betty's I plan to spend time touring the area. Aunt Betty has a wealth of... I stayed at Aunt Betty's for a week in August because I was taking a class in Stony Brook. Many of the other students in the class were also staying at hotels, but none were as lucky as me. Aunt Betty's was safe, quiet, and impeccably clean. I was able to get all my work done using her Wifi connection... More
