The Hobbit Hollow B&B is a comfortable and peaceful place for relaxation. We stayed in the Chanticleer room for two nights on a weeklong tour of the Finger Lakes region. The room was overly spacious with plenty of room for our bags and to stretch out and relax. Our room overlooked the adjacent horse barns and was cooled by shade...

What a beautiful place, pefect wherever you look. Everything first class -- rooms, furniture, decoration, bathrooms, common spaces, decks, views. Enter and you will smile. Host Holly is gracious, sharp, helpful. Arrival greeting comes served on a platter, with cloth napkins, and real china with real silverware if you pick tea or coffee. Or, you can have wine if that's...

We loved this beautiful B&B overlooking the lake. The accommodations, the setting, the warmth of the hostess could not be better.. We were 6 couples and all felt the same way about this delightful retreat. W e really didn't want to leave, Even the breakfasts were outstanding. It was truly wonderful. Skaneateles is a lovely town situated on the shores of a crystal clear lake. The swimming is fabulous. We set out for a short getaway, and were delighted to stay at the Hobbit Hollow Farm B&B. We wanted to ride our road bikes and run and there were plenty of hilly routes to choose from. There are also mountain bike...

This B&B was first class from location to the room to breakfast. Located 5 minutes out of town overlooking a vineyard and the lake, it was the favorite of the many B&B's we stayed in on our trip. The manager, Holly, was most gracious and helpful serving us wine, cheese and frozen grapes upon our arrival. We were in the...

Hobbit Hollow was the best B&B we ever stayed in. The lovely farm house (more like a small mansion) was redone and is at the five-star level. We stayed in the master suite, which has a large, private, screened-in porch with wicker furniture. The four-poster bed was SO comfortable and the jacuzzi tub a delight. The house is located on...

We stayed one night 2-21-11 and there were 2 other couples sharing the Home. Our "deal" came with $50.00 dinner credit at Sherwood Inn. This house it architecturally beautiful. I have posted photos which speak better than words. Been to more than a few B&Bs and here we felt at ease and at home.. Maureen, the innkeeper, was friendly and...

My husband and I stayed at the Hobbit Hollow B&B while visiting family in the area. We loved this place! We were met with wine and cheese and able to sit out on a screened in porch enjoying the beautiful summer afternoon. Although Skaneateles Lake is across the street, the Inn sits up on a hill and you have a...

The B and B was a beautiful, wonderfully kept up victorian house on a horse farm. We had 2 of the largest rooms and one smaller room, all with private baths, air conditioning, TV, phone, radio alarm clock---all the amenities except a room safe, not necessary in this B&B. The place was immaculately clean, the innkeeper was immediately responsive to...

We are not B&B people, but Hobbit Hollow was lovely. Our room was superb; the bathroom was spacious and clean and there were NO STREET LIGHTS, so it was actually DARK at night. Our hostess, Jill, was wonderfully accommodating and made very good suggestions in terms of dining. The house itself is well-kept and tastefully furnished. We were completely pampered...
