Everything about our overnight was perfect! We were surprised with a room upgrade to the jacuzzi room and it was just exquisite! It came with champagne glasses and candles and we had a lovely time, it was just what we needed for a romantic night away!
The staff even called and m

You can choose rooms that face the lake, or, not. The lake is gorgeous, but having seen it for most of my life, I went for the quieter back facing room. Parking is included, a plus in a village that doesn’t have a lot of overnight parking places. The room was very nice and spacio

Based on the reasonable price, we were not expecting much. We were very pleasantly surprised to find a spacious, attractively furnished suite room (kitchenette and little table), with many extras included. The towels were copious, soft and fluffy, there were good quality toilet

I really didn't know what to expect and was a little concerned about a recent comment about the experience being "impersonal." So yes, the hotel is a little unconventional in that you check yourself in (there's an envelope with your name on it at the side door that tells you you

Dear JMin: Well, thank you for such a kind (and lengthy) review of your stay. And, you are correct, Skaneateles is a very small (and seasonal) place. In our case, we have the Boutique Hotel (where you stayed in the Village) plus the Bungalows at the Suites 2 miles outside ton, plus a collection of Extended Stay apartments and houses. And sometimes we have one person covering all of those, and sometimes they are not where you are. There is always someone at the end of the phone, however!. We have marked your folio as "Repeat Guest" and that entitles you to some special handling and discounts next trip.

The room itself was pleasant enough – recently refurbished with taste and attention to detail, but the overall experience left us never wanting to return. It started at check-in. No-one was there so we dialled the number stuck to a nearby door. A disembodied voice then took our d

Dear Jon C: Ouch! We are so sorry this happened to you. But we thank you for your direct words and comments. We are a small Company with multiple locations (That is part of our charm, but not without some scheduling problems) It turned out, on that Tuesday, we had one manager covering two properties and they where not where you were. Julie remembers your call, and she says she apologizes for not being more convivial on the phone. What I think is 'you can never take back a bad first impression'. It also turns out, just last week, we were re-visiting our Guest Communications process..... electronic, written and face-to-face. Sadly, we were about a week too late! If and when you do come back.... please try our other property, The Bungalows at Skaneateles Suites. I will mark your folio for 'special handling'.
