The owners Carl and Ro couldn't be more friendly or helpful. Rooms very clean and delicious breakfasts every morning. Everyone sitting out on the porch in the evenings talking and just enjoying the company. Close to beaches , restaurants and many recreational things to do. Very safe and like being in another world away from all stress. Definitely booking again...

When we called in without reservation the owners were playing golf, the place was wide open and they told us to go in and take a room. They believe in honest people. The room in designed in best taste we saw in any lodge or motel. Everything was clean and looks new. Breakfast is served unfortunately only on weekends. Would...

Hotel is located on Main Street near the beach at the end do the lake. It is within walking distance of places like a grocery store, restaurant and ice cream parlor. The room was fine except there was no toiloit paper or fresh soap when we first went in. The owners were very friendly and eager to help but not...

Taking our motorcycle through the heart of the Adirondacks on Rt. 30, we stopped in Speculator looking for a room. The outside of the Pleasant Point is deceiving (some work being done), but the inside is lovely. Furnished with antiques, warm and inviting, the rooms were extremely clean and comfortable. Great porch out front where we sat outside at night...

I stayed here on August 13, 2013 with my 10 year old nephew. It was a welcome refuge from some very wet camping. The location was central, and we were able to get around town easily. You can walk to the town beach. Carl was great about storing our bikes out of harms way so we didn't need to remove...

We stayed for 3 nights with our family of 6 in the family suite. The outside is deceiving! We were so pleasantly surprised by the coziness and comfort we found inside! The suite was spacious and very comfortable for our family. Very pleased to find they had internet. The beds were very comfy and the room was very clean. The...

We made a reservation to stay here recently, and when my wife and I arrived, there was no one there! We knocked, tried the door, and called both phone numbers that were on the door, but no answer. We stopped back after dinner, same thing, no one there and no answer on the phone. Maybe they forgot we were coming?...

Our family of 4 stayed at Pleasant point for 2 nights in august 2012. We had a wonderful time with Carl. The lodge is very old and charasteristic and at the same quite convenient. Carl made us a very nice breakfast twice, everything fresh and homemade. My husband even got to borrow his bicycle to experience the beautiful scenery by...

A group of 10 of us stayed here for one night on our way through the Adirondacks. Carl and Maryanne were great hosts, pointing us in all the right directions and attending to our every need. The place is gorgeous. Right on the main street, each room of this 100-year old lodge had its' own cachet. The beds were comfortable,...
