We had very nice big room, very clean, comfortable bed. Breakfast has organic food. Only one minus, hotel was remodeled from old synagogue and floor still squeaking at the corridors , it didn't bother me.

I chose the Hotel Skyler after reading the great reviews on here. It is good, but it could be so much better. It's a beautiful building, the room was lovely but there were some drawbacks which is why I will not return. They are: 1) Very thin walls. I could hear my "neighbors' even when they were just walking around...

Erin, Two things I would like to comment on & reassure you that we are always staffed at the front desk 24/7 no matter what, secondly we always have fresh complimentary coffee waiting for our guests in the lobby whenever you may need it. We are so sorry to hear about your disappointing stay with us, I would very much...

I absolutely love staying here. The service is wonderful, the bed is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, and I love that it's green. Hotel Skyler is located by SU but is easy to get to downtown or the Westcott neighborhood. The bath products are all eco friendly as well, and their coffee was delicious in the...

We recently stayed at Hotel Skyler for family weekend at SUNY ESF. We like the hotel's history (converted synagogue), the decor (environmentally friendly and relaxing) and the location to campus. The complimentary breakfast is first rate. Mini quiches, greek yogurt selection, fresh juices and steel cut oatmeal with lots of mix-ins to choose from. We checked in very late and...

This is a very convenient location to the Syracuse campus which made our visit very nice. The history of the building is interesting. We were very comfortable & the hotel was very clean. Our room was on the 3rd floor facing the campus & it was quiet the night we were there. The breakfast has simple yet very yummy options.

Nancy, Thank you for choosing us during your trip to the Syracuse Campus to visit your daughter, so glad you enjoyed learning about our buildings history & the "yummy" breakfast. We hope to see you back next time you visit your daughter :-)

After reading reviews, I thought we would give it a try. We were initially only supposed to be here for one night but due to an injury we had to extend our stay. The hotel itself is very clean! Breakfast was terrible. Rooms were clean , and big, but the shower is horrendous. It was a rain shower head which...

This was my third stay at the hotel -- it used to be a progressive property, but that edge has been lost. When I checked in and was given my room number I asked which end of the hall it was located -- the response was, "I don't know, you'll have to find it yourself." That was an indication of...

We were attending a funeral in a town about 20 mins. away so we decided to stay in downtown Syracuse so we could be closer to some dinner and nightlife spots. Also the State Fair was going on too which was only about 15 mins away. I got a great deal online and I really liked the hotel in just...

An interesting and pleasant change from the standard chain places off the highway. Very nice rooms - plenty of space, clean and newish, and functional. Only thing that could improve is a hot breakfast (versus the continental which seems more like an afterthought). Finally, just a few blocks from the SU campus - great location.

We have stayed here a few times over the years and it is one of our favourite Syracuse hotels. The rooms are large, clean and airy. Like in most of Europe, you put your key-card into a slot in the wall to turn on the electric power to the room. They have a nice breakfast included and free parking. There...
