Have been there twice before. Always asked if we wanted champagne or beverage at check in. Not this time. Food much better and service great. Could have used moisturizer in room. Still a well Leo beautiful venue and spa services great.

My wife and I went to the Castle for the night of our first anniversary hoping to enjoy the property, the services at the hotel, and some of the advertised amenities. Really, the only time I leave bad reviews for restaurants or hotels is when they price high and under deliver. So here it is, and to keep this brief,...

My girlfriend and i stayed here for a spa weekend. We had a suite with a living room and fire place. The staff gladly came to light the fire for us when it was a bit chilly in spring time. The decor was great and it had a great view of the water. There was a huge table to work...

I don't know why I'm answering... it ought to be the Head Housekeeper, the Rooms Division Manager, even the Spa Manager and Engineer (who lit the fire)! But, please allow me to thank you on behalf of all the folks "behind the scenes" who make a complicated place like this "work!" I know they all take pride in what they...

I went to Tarrytown for an event at the Tarrytown Music Hall. Although less than 60 mikes from home I didn't want to drive home at night being both tired and having not so great night vision. I was very impressed with my room, a single king. They were also helpful and securing a cab to and from the concert....

Hello jeffandlinda2014! Thank you very much for your comments and endorsement for overnight stays here in Tarrytown after attending the Music Hall. Truth be known, we're very fortunate in having great venues for entertainment and dining throughout Westchester (Blue Hill at Stone Barn, the Music Hall, etc.) that weekends and holiday eves especially have become quit animated and vibrant. Still,...

We just an amazing experience and were treated with good ole' fashioned customer service! This place could pass for a posh resort hotel without the hustle that comes with larger facilities. We were truly pleasantly surprised!!

Dear infoH69370H, Short and sweet, powerfully impactful! Thank you very much for your kind words... After being around for over a hundred years, you can hardly call us a "posh resort hotel." We're more like "Stone Age" hardware and aspiring to do the best we can with "humanware." We're very fortunate, our guests forgive our physical shortcomings knowing we "love...

We spent a Sun & Mon celebrating our Bday weekend at the Castle. We couldn't have been happier. We were upgraded to a suite upon arrival which was a nice surprise. The room was spacious and clean. We had drinks and dinner both evenings on the property. The drinks were great, the food even better! The service was exceptional! Big...

We were in town for a concert at the Tarrytown Music Hall so we decided to make it a girls' weekend. The Castle is quite lovely! This is not your typical hotel; great care was taken to make you feel like you're walking through the halls of a stately castle: wide hallways, gorgeous furniture and accessories, ornately framed paintings, and...

The castle itself was stunning. I was able to take some great photos both inside and out. The room was mediocre. It was spacious but the view was disappointing. The description online boasts beautiful views but even if we squinted through the bare trees (because it was winter), we could hardly see the river. The room was fairly clean, aside...

Awesome property, friendly service, clean room. What more can you ask for? Highly recommended. Bit expensive but totally worth it. Will be back many more times. Artwork in the halls, antique furniture, lighting, all impressive. Restaurant, great service, great food.

Dear JVG123, Congratulations on your Anniversary! Thank you for spending it here at The Castle Hotel and Spa. My wife, our 5 year old and I, had a very pleasant one night stay at the Castle Hotel and Spa. Dear LevisDadStaysAtHome, Thanks for coming out in the middle of winter to spend the evening with your family here at The Castle Hotel and Spa! Doubly so for helping us overcome unfortunate reviews that noted our "clay feet" and imperfections. To be sure, inconsistency is among our shortcomings. It's where our glass is truly "half-empty." Yet, when we receive positive,...
