Clean! Well organized and VERY helpful staff. We arrived late on a very cold winter night to a cozy room with the heater running, a lamp left on and a place to plug in our vehicle. Such a warm inviting room after a long day of driving. Staff is there 24hrs a day and even came to rescue us and our horses/trailer in a snow storm! Cannot say enough good things about how well this place is run. We now stay here even break up our trips up north to stop in and stay. Super easy to rebook as they are well organized and keep info on file.

Very nice and quiet motel. The property is clean and well maintained. Beautiful view of the treeline from window and room was quiet and cozy. After a full day of driving and sightseeing I had the best sleep.. affordable room rates too. I highly recommend this motel if you go through big river.

My team and I stayed at Timberland Motel last night. I cannot say enough great things about this business. The owner cheerfully greeted us upon arrival at 9:45pm. Check-in was smooth (there’s even a freezer full of homemade cookies that guests can take for free!). The rooms were tidy, large, and in great repair. My room was around the back of the building ... it was quiet and comfortable. If you’re passing through this beautiful part of the province, do yourself a favour and stay here!

Stayed for a couple of nights on business in the area. Family that owns the Motel is very friendly and welcoming. The Motel itself was very clean and modern with rooms being fairly large. The area is beautiful around Big River with the trees and lakes. I would recommend staying here and will stay here again next time I’m through the area.

Great family run motel. Very friendly. Stay with cross borders drilling crew and we were Well rested for the next days work. Nice rooms wifi always a must. I hope we stay here again in the future Thx again

The hotel was very clean and had nice staff. Bonus they gave me free homemade cookies for staying with them. Easy access to the rooms, you park right by the door and walk in. Well maintained hotel. I recommend it!

Rooms were clean, well stocked led, and comfortable. Owner did her best to accommodate us and make sure our needs were met, especially in regards to having space for our little girl. Outside is pleasing to the eye, looks clean and comfortable, which it is. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for 4 nights while visiting family in the area. Big River is very fortunate to have Timberland Motel. The staff were very welcoming. The grounds are immaculate and the rooms clean and comfortable. Our room had a microwave, fridge, flat screen TV. WiFi is available also. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Big River and would not hesitate to recommend Timberland Motel to anyway passing that way.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. The room was super clean and neat. Not too fond of the memory foam mattress top. Close to some of the best fishing. Will stay there again during our next fishing trip!

I will look into the reason behind the memory foam mattress topper on that particular bed as I believe it is the only bed that has one; thanks for your comment. PS. This is a great little motel in northern Saskatchewan. We were there on a business trip and the room had been booked for us by an associate. We were immediately impressed by the warm, friendly welcome. It turns out that this is a 'brand new' owner who only recently took over. The whole place seems to be very well taken care of... the grounds are immaculate as are the rooms. This is not a 'chain' type of place but that is not a negative. I would have no problem recommending this establishment to anyone. We will look forward to staying there on future trips to the area.
