The Inn is about 2 miles from Turning Stone, and they do have a free shuttle that I believe runs 24 hours. We stayed for a quick overnight and it was extremely decent priced. The room was extremely bare. No fridge, coffee maker etc. But we didn't care.. so it was no big deal for us. Staff was friendly, it was clean, and it was cheap. No elevator.
My brother and I decided to hold our annual summer get together at Turning Stone this year largely due to the pandemic. This property is a mile down the road from the main resort and casino but offers very good shuttle service 24 hours a day to and from the casino. The rates were very reasonable and although the room was a bit tight, we enjoyed our 3 night stay. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The shower was good even though it's a little low for taller guys like us. The people at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. They use a walkie talkie to contact the driver of the shuttle and he/she arrives very quickly. We would stay here again.
The only problem I have , is, no fridge in the room, u can't get it anymore I need to take meds. With milk, I do not want to get dressed early in the morning, I don't know why u can't them anymore, but, nice place
Recently stayed at the Turning Stone Tower,,wow,,what a room,,beautiful...quite nice,,then swirched over to the newly aquired Sandstone Inn,,down the rode a little bit,,real nice,,cont. breakfast,,coffee and tea 24 hours ,very nice breakfast,,hot and cold..friendly staff,,only thing is ,if your not and early riser,,when booking ,ask for the rooms on the parking lot side,,as there is some sort of heavy equiptment building on the back side,,a bid noisy if you like to sleep late,,real nice place,,yes, will be going back..
This is a budget friendly, just the basics hotel. It is an older property. If you plan to spend plenty of time in your room other than sleeping, this hotel may not fit your needs. We were gone from late morning till late evening. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and staff were very friendly. The shuttle was excellent. The average wait time was literally 3-5 minutes and it runs 24 hours. No need to carry or check your coat as the shuttle was well heated and it was door to door service. Yes, as others have noted, there is no elevator so that could be an issue for some. I still would prefer the second floor as I believe it is quieter. And yes, there is no coffee maker, no refrigerator and smaller bath towels. So, if these are necessities, spend the extra $100-$200 more a night and stay at the casino.…
