My husband and I had the pleasure of staying with Doug and Louise this weekend for Valentine's Days at their beautiful Victorian-style B&B. The Cornerstone is absolutely beautifully decorated with unique decor and artwork. The woodwork is breathtaking with so many variations and styles of wood. Our room, the Eastlake Chamber, was so cozy and welcoming. The two-person whirlpool tub was exactly what we needed for a nice relaxing weekend away from the kids. Downtown Lake George is a 5-minute drive down the road with many attractions that are family friendly. Doug and Louise are amazing and super accommodating with tons of great recommendations. I cannot say enough about the 5 course award winning breakfast. Don't eat a huge dinner as breakfast will keep you full the entire day. It was the perfect combination of savory/sweet and 100% worthy of being an award winner. Another added bonus is Louise has a contact who will come to your room for a personal massage, something we will be taking advantage of on our next visit. We cannot wait to go back for another kid-free relaxing weekend. Thank you Doug and Louise for a weekend to remember!

We had a lovely, peaceful time at the Cornerstone Victorian. The inn keepers, Doug and Louise, were a pleasure to meet. They are friendly and welcoming. The evening desert was delicious, and the breakfast was just amazing. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The entire place is beautiful and incredibly well-kept. You will not be disappointed.

This was our second stay Cornerstone, this time for 4 nights. Doug and Louise are the finest, most accommodating hosts you will ever meet. We were greeted each morning by a multi-course breakfast made by Louise and Doug was always there to engage us in conversation, offer suggestions on things to see, places to go and recommend the finest dinner spots. Although my fiance has some diet restrictions, Louise made sure that everything that was served to her met her needs and without any hesitation whatsoever. Louise's response was always, "I want Karen to be happy". Social distancing was always the norm - separate tables, hand sanitizer always available, masks always worn, and the opportunity to even eat outside on the porch if you wanted to. The house is close to Lake George Village, Bolton Landing and Saratoga Springs and about an hour's ride to Lake Placid. A beautiful house with magnificent rooms and furnishings managed by the two nicest people.

The best bed and breakfast we have stayed in, in the US. Doug and Louise are friendly hosts without being overbearing. The rooms are spotless and the Master Chamber is huge, with a magnificent four poster bed. Breakfasts are delicious and large - we saved our cake for lunch. The tables are very well spaced out so social distancing is not an issue. Also as others mentioned there is always a fresh baked item each day which we used to enjoy at the end of our day over coffee. You can also chose to eat a takeaway at the tables/front porch which we did to just experience the ambience of the B&B. The property is exceptionally well maintained with beautiful gardens. Stay here - you will not regret it.
