Every October, my husband and I got away with his roommate from college and his wife...We are leaf peepers and love this time of year in the mountains. We started out in a B and B in Alexandria Bay but our stay there was cut short due to an innkeeper having to depart on a family emergency. We had to... More

This was an unexpected surprise stop....Doug and Aimee (innkeepers) were the sweetest couple...and excellent cooks...she always had cookies and a bowl of chocolates for the guest....this was their off season and we (2 couples) had the whole place to ourselves...the great room had a huge fire place which had a wonderful fire burning all the time...the rooms were spacious and... The lodge is amazing, very welcoming. The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Doug and Amy are very gracious hosts, they went beyond what one would expect to accommodate our needs. AJ's breakfasts were delicious, a perfect way to start our days. We will most likely be returning for another weekend for the white water rafting. I would definitely recommend... More

This mountain lodge style B&B has a wonderful atmosphere. It is clean, well kept, cozy and comfortable. The common areas invite you in to relax and enjoy. The bedrooms are sparklingly clean and beds very comfortable. The breakfast that comes with this B&B experience is the best I have ever had anywhere. The chef cures his own bacon and makes... More

Our first stay at Glen Lodge and we absolutely loved it. We went white water rafting and it was amazing, best white water rafting outfitters in Adirondacks! Food was great, loved the market too! We are planning another trip in the spring!

My husband and two pre-teen boys stayed at the Glen Lodge for two nights in early August and had a fabulous time. The rooms were nice and the grounds were great. Lovely great room, peaceful back porch, fire pit and even goats and chickens on the property. We took one of their all day rafting trips and thoroughly enjoyed the... More

Doug and Amy are delightful hosts. The accommodations reflect the Adirondack atmosphere. The mattress was comfortable and the bathroom well appointed. John, the chef, makes his own sausage and bacon and prepares a hearty breakfast. John also prepares pasta and salad for returning rafters and his pasta sauce is "to die for".

Spent 2 nights at the Glen lodge and can't say enough good things to give it justice! Aimee, Doug and family are so gracious, their B&B is beautiful, warm, and just simply relaxing. The breakfast each morning was amazing, and we decided we would white water raft again just for the dinner after :) We did the raft and lodge... More

This is our second stay at The Glen Lodge. Not your typical "frilly" B & B. Adirondack furnishings throughout. Cozy & clean. Actually, probably the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Yummy breakfast! Great toiletry products. A very nice sauna. Front and back porch to relax on. We look forward to our return trip. Also rafted with their Wild... More
