Together with our friends we started the annual tradition of traveling to special places in Egypt. And truly, with Al Tarfa being the first, it will be hard to find adequate next destinations! This lodge has been planned and executed with so much passion and attention to detail, it was a joy for us to discover this beautiful place. Authentic...

We a group of 8 spent 3 nights/4 days at the Al Tarfa Lodge for an energy/meditation retreat and and we could not have chosen a better place. The Lodge itself is very luxurious and blends perfectly with the environment, built and furnished with exquisite taste yet not ostentatiously, blending and fusing with the incredible energy. The marvelous breakfast on...

I booked the hotel for 3 nights and they are great stay, the staff are friendly, and the gardens make the place very nice. Great tours operated by the hotel are good to discover the oasis, but if you have a private car will be great to see the full area around

I heard a lot about the place but all I heard was really not a match to the beauty of the place. An extraordinary experience, that has just the right amount of luxury without losing the natural character of the location. Uniquely designed rooms built the traditional ancient way using mud bricks, and finished with a modern touch. The food...

With its wonderful mountain view It's a unique, environmental friendly & relaxing 20 rooms hotel with special local designs for the entrance, reception and rooms. Staff is welcoming & helpful. It didn't take 3 minutes for checking in. Main problems are the food varaities, insects (common problem in this area), room cleanness & night over price.

The road in asphalte was very comfortable, with places to stop, for a drink ,a cigarette and to go to the loo. The scenery on the way was picturesque i was so stunned by it that the 8 hours passed whilst i was still admiring the shapes...

I´m so glad that I had the chance to spend one night at the Al Tarfa Sanctuary Lodge. We also had the privilege to have the whole lodge to ourselves. This place is amazingly beautiful and retains all the natural architecture of the area but still has all the comforts of a beautiful five star hotel. After a long and...
