For anyone reading my review for the first time, you will not be disappointed if you visit Roots. Please see my previous reviews in 2013, 2014 and 2015. My husband and I didn't manage to get out for Christmas 2016 but missed our winter fix so managed to squeeze a week in. I would like to say that nothing has...

I spent a week here and had a great time. Comfortable facilities with a few individual twists such as a cozy undercover campfire every night, on site massage and lots of spaces to sit and relax between dives. Food was excellent and the Chef and Staff are very service orinetated. We only went out to an El Quesir fish restaurant...

Had a great trip, arriving Christmas Eve, we were collected smoothly from Hurghada airport and transferred to Roots. Had a lazy Christmas day and a fantastic Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. Most people come to Roots to dive, but other things can be organised. My teenage kids really loved the quad biking. Massage is available at the camp and...

We came back! I don't care what anyone says, Roots is the place to be! When we went the wind was up for some reason. This meant some of the sites weren't gonna work. Yes, the midweek bbq and night dive was cancelled but I still loved it! We'll be back!

Get up, have breakfast, amble over to the dive centre (60 secs walk). Then a walk to the house Reef or a minibus ride along the coast to deserted beaches. Dive. Move on to a nearby reef. Then lunch by the sea - whilst the dive team rinse out your kit!!! The diving is fantastic, the camp is spotlessly clean...

This is a great place to get away and relax. The staff and owners are friendly and extremely accommodating. The rooms are nice and the food is lovely. There are plenty of dive sites within a short distance. The dive centre is efficient and knowledgeable, so what are you waiting for?

I spent seven wonderful weeks at Roots Luxury Camp on a diving trip which I must say was one of the best trips of my life. Such a chilled out place where you can get away from the tourist hot spots and experience the real Egypt. The rooms were superb where I always had a great nights sleep after a...

I visited Roots Luxury camp as an expedition leader with a team of 10 students from the University of Glasgow. We were at the camp for a period of 6 weeks conducting marine research on the house reef and surrounding area. Roots Camp provided us with a more than ideal base to do our work from, with a basic but...

I visited Roots for a diving trip and it dod not disappoint. The resort was very comfortable and the diving instructors made sure you were comfortable and relaxed the whole time. The staff at the bars and restaurant were always at hand to cater to your needs and Claire and Steve organised a fantastic trip to Luxor!

As a very enthusiastic diver, it sometimes proves very difficult finding somebody to go on holiday with. Going to roots dive camp is just perfect for me. Having now been several times now, I have got to know all the staff. Everybody makes me so welcome, there is always somebody to dive with. I have made lots of new friends....
