We had the run of an apartment that sleeps 4 and is usually shared. You need a torch if you go out at night and sensible shoes at all times.. Amazing view from the roof terrace. Brilliant breakfasts and had a couple of excellent evening meals too. Omar was happy to pour over maps with us each evening and we...

2 adults, 2 children, 3 nights at Dar Amalou, April 2014. PROS: great location, up a path, luggage carried by donkeys. We felt immersed in village life. Omar is a gracious and knowledgable host. Highlights: a guided walk with Omar, perfectly pitched to our children's abilities and of course the excellent food. CONS: when it's cold outside the apartment gets...

We hired a private guide through Atlas and Sahara Tours to take us from Fes through the Middle Atlas Mountains, to Merzouga desert, to the High Atlas Mountains for some trekking time, and then to Marrakech. All of our accommodations, food and travel was taken care of by Atlas and Sahara Tours (you can see our review on TripAdvisor). This...

My wife and I had a fabulous lunch here whilst in Imlil for our day trip to the valley through Atlas and Sahara Tours, and I have to admit, this was by far the *BEST* lamb tagine that I enjoyed during our trip to Marrakech, from streeside cafes to top-end Al Fassia! The local mountain lamb was seriously good, full...

Omar, who is the chef at the Kasbah du Toubkal, provides a warm welcome into this newly built guest house. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and each bedroom we used had an ensuite bathroom with welcome hot running water. The food was excellent and we were made very very welcome. A good place to stay!

We stayed here for 1 night before beginning our Toubkal ascent. It was clean and it was great to have a hot shower after trekking for 2 days. Omar was a welcoming host and the food was great. I'd happily stay there again if in Imlil.

We stayed here for one night before hiking up Mt. Toubkal. My son, husband and I took both rooms on the top floor of this private home owned by Omar and his young family. The place was sparkling clean and offered amazing views across the Imlil valley. Omar's wife cooked a delicious tangine for dinner and crepes/chapati for breakfast. The...

From the minute we arrived In Imlil, Omar was the perfect host. From carrying Our bags up the slope, to taking us on private hiking trips to showing us the Kasbah de Toubkal - the luxury hotel on the opposite side of the gorge, where he has his day-job as chef-de-cuisine. We felt really welcome staying at the top floor...

Besides being a guide in the High Atlas Omar is a cook at the kasbah Toubkal Hotel. If a genuine Authentic Berber experience is what you want a visit with Omar & his family will fulfill your expectations. Omar will help guide you with whatever you want & wherever you want to go.

Mustaphpa from Atlas and Sahara tours arranged an overnight stop at Omar's guesthouse where we were comfortably accomodated. Highlights were mint tea on the roof terrace with the backdop of Mount Toubcal, a comfortable bed, an electric heater in the bedroom!, a sumptious evening Tagine and the most delicious pancakes I have ever tasted for breakfast. Thank you for your...
