Management and staff do not give a damn about your needs. Rowdy guests kept us up all night and the lady at reception told us that she works untill 22:00, the 24 hour emergency number was not answered the first time we called and switched off thereafter and security disappeared! At 02:00 we gave up, got up and read. The...

Nice location feels a world away from the city, the lodge and surroundings are picturesque with beautifully laid out gardens around the lodge leading down to the dam. We stayed in the hotel rooms which were comfortable and clean; although might have been nice to try the rondawels. The restaurant feels quaint, breakfast was very enjoyable, with both the usual...

I stayed here two nights. The first in the modern hotel suite and the second in the traditional rondavel. The best was the rondavel. Hotel was clean and the staff very friendly. We booked the 3 night B and B package at ZAR 1500. A great deal. Good rooms in the modern block of the hotel and a good breakfast. Billy ( manager) was very helpful in advising about places to visit. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We also took advantage of the set dinner each night. There were different...

The rooms were very spacious..bathrooms clean..hot showers. Staff very attentive and accommodating. My special place was the bar where DJ Mandla besides playing us good music to dance the night away also had a huge fire going the whole night. On the downside the roads leading to the hotel need attention. If you have a day to spare it would...

We stayed here two nights. We had a room in the new part of the hotel. Design of the hotel is typically English. Room was okay, bathroom was good with an excellent shower. It is a nice base to visit Drakensberg. It is not a fancy or spectacular place. Crew is very friendly and dinner and breakfast is good.
