I read the TripAdvisor reviews on this camp before I went and I have to say that reviewing tented camps and lodges in Africa is a tricky business because typically no two camps are the same. If this is the first camp that a traveler visits in Africa, he or she may think it's just fine and maybe even be...

Lovely place. Clean and comfortable tents with hot water and flush toilets. Friendly staff. Dinner and show were awesome. Dessert mediocre. Breakfast al la carte. We stayed one night and thoroughly enjoyed it.

We stayed here for one night during a three day safari and it was so charming. We went in November 2016, the low season, and our group was the only group staying there at that time. The property is laid out with the tents on the outer rim, intertwined with huge acacia trees and a center green space- just beautiful!...

Pleasant cabins in the middle of the forest with regular visitors like monkeys and birds. The lodge is quite near a larger forest, from which you hear all kinds of nightly wildlife sounds. The rooms and balvonies are pleasant. The restaurant served a very good wildebeast stew.

Property is beautifully laid out and inviting. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was perfect and food was delicious. Spray up for the mosquitos and you'll be fine. Not as charming as crater forest camp, but we appreciated the closeness to the main road, the fact that we were not the only guests, the warm weather. Also, this was...

Loved this place! It's in a "forest" which made its location quite different from the other tented camps on this trip. All of the tents radiate in a semi-circle from the main building where we ate. My "single" tent had three twin beds!--all mosquito-netted--with a western-style toilet. There was a large fire pit where you could gather before dinner with...

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying with us at KIA and for your comments. Our camp is only minutes away from L. Manyara N. P., located among amidst an acacia forest. The cabins are situated in a lovely forest and our cabin was very comfortable. Our friends got one of the older cabins and weren't as happy with it. Electricity is only available at night but there isn't any wifi. The staff were obliging and the food was tasty.

Upon our arrival, we were greeting with typical Tanzanian hospitality: mango juice and a rest in the open air main office/restaurant. After travelling from Ngorongoro, we looked forward to lunch before getting set up in our 'tents'. The tents were great! It was so cool to have a bathroom/shower right inside. Everything was exceptionally clean. The bed was really comfortable...

Dear Guest, Thank you for staying wit us at Migunga and posting this account of your experience. We stayed here for 3 nights after successfully trekking up Mt. Kilimanjaro. This part of our trip was to relax and recover and we certainly did that here. Yet, not too far from civilization the scenery of the hotel puts you in the wilderness. The tents are really nice, secure and comfortable. The bathrooms are adequate and actually huge. It's...
