Traveled with ' Simba Safaris '. I had a very pleasant one night stay in your camp. The hut given to me was very comfortable, clean and had an excellent view of the Lake. I am pleased to say that your staff were very cheerful, courteous, and helpful. The food was excellent . I will like to stay there again... More

Facilities and grounds are beautiful. Dinner buffet was delicious Indian food; breakfast buffet was mediocre. I prefer hotels in which the staff is less formal and solicitous and more casual staff would have better fit the atmosphere. But it really was excellent; my daughter wished we could have stayed much longer.

We stayed in this lovely lodge for only one night but were pleased. We had a spacious room with balcony, a very large bathroom, and a large bed with mosquito netting. The fan placed strategically above the bed helped keep the air circulating on what could have been a hot night. While we enjoyed the setting and the meals, we... More

Just look at the map - Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro, Serengeti, Tarangire... But Manyara is always in the centre, you simply cannot miss the place. We arrived late with one wish on our minds: a shower. So let it be - first we go to our canvas safari tent with a thatched roof and a lovely name 'Chui'. The tent is not... More

Individual tent "cabins" setup on elevated wood platforms with covered front porch, views to sunsets. 2 room tents with large, spacious bedroom, king-size bed, comfortable mattress, mosquito netting, hanging clothes rack. Tent has unzip "windows" for air flow, but also had fan to... More

Not quite a camping experience but beautiful individual cottages overlooking Lake Manyara exceeded our expectations. We had an upper floor unit with great views of the valley and the lake. The units had tea/coffee making facilities and had comfortable beds with mosquito nets. All this in the middle of well tended gardens with plenty of bird life. Meals were served... More

Lovely place, lovely location. At this time of the year (end July) Lake Manyara has shrunk and you can only see it shimmering in the distance from the camp. But the views were terrific. The large Baobab trees right in front of our units, the colorful bougainvillea, the frangipani, the birds chirping in the bushes all added to the atmosphere... More
