We stayed at kirurumu for 1 night last june. Our tented lodge has view of Manyara lake. If you go o this place, ask for tented lodges with views, There are others that are inside the forest. The tented is not as big as others in Tanzania, but quite complete. We had a problem with toilet pipe. But the staff...

Recently stayed here and had a great tent with perhaps the best view. The tents are very secure and the beds are so comfy! Unfortunately the shower facilities are run off solar power only therefore we had absolutely no hot water which after a dusty safari is a killer! It's also rather cold up on the hill side and when...

This permanent tented lodge is really lovely. The staff were very helpful, especially the waiting staff (I even got high-fived for being vegetarian- which never happens!). The tents were really nice and we had an amazing view over Lake Manyara from the tent. The tent had two double beds with mosquito nets, which were very comfortable. The bathroom had hot...

This is a luxury permanent tented lodge. We read that tipping is encouraged by using the “tip box” at each facility and that staff did not expect to be tipped independently. We had 2 bags that we wanted carried to the lodge. We had two smaller bags that we wanted left in the tour vehicle. However, even though the tour...

Our first stay on our safari after a wonderful day at Lake Manyara. Charming, spaceous tents located quite far apart from each other so you almost had the feeling you were camping on your own. Ok food, very friendly staff. Rekommend it. We travelled with our children 11 and 13 years.

We stayed a couple of nights here at Kirurumu and we enjoyed our stay primarily due to the friendly staff. The accomodation was average. The tents had everything we needed and were comfortable althought the mattress was a bit on the thin side. The bathroom was okay, but the shower was a bit moldy in places...not bad, but not great...

We only stayed one night at this lodge and it was an interesting one! The lodge itself is not too far the national park, in fact it's just North of it. The highlights of the lodge are the view from the rooms and the staff. We were given one of the farthest away from the lobby / bar / restaurant...

Our tent was luxurious from the bed, bed linen, bathroom, service, and dining. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We had a bush dinner on site just for the four of us with all sorts of extra attention. Would absolutely recommend it.

A couple of kilometer from the main road, in the middle of the woods you will find this tented lodge. There are Masai warriors garding the premesis and help you With your luggage, the standard in the tent are average, and there is no view from the tent. The outside dining room and bar are beatifully situated with a wonderful...

When we booked our Northern Circuit Safari we didn't actually book Kirurumu Tented Lodge at all. But about a month and a half before our trip we were informed that our 'other' hotel had to cancel our reservation due to facility issues, and we will be staying at Kirurumu. Anyway, this place is awesome - the views from the private...
