What a wonderful place! Me and my husband enjoyed our two night stay in Kisiwa. We have paid a little extra for Malkia junior suite which was really nice and spacious with very large, comfy bed and free standing bath. Also there is a quite good choice of TV channels and decent free WiFi connection in all rooms. First evening just after...

Located in the alleys of Stone Town so having a lot of luggage may not be a very good idea as it has to be carried a few metres....Entrance was very nice and clean...Friendly Staff ..yes to get a computer for font desk so quite a novelty to see a front desk without one and all done manually ... Kisiwa House has a very good location in the heart of Stone Town, and you can really experience the atmosphere of this exotic town. It is a nice place, but with room rates at the high end of the scale it is not by no means any bargain. The TV set was not working and the WiFi not available in...

This place was awesome. The location was perfect as it was just outside of all the hustle and bustle but literally 5-10 minute walk into the small alleyways of Stone Town. The beach in stone town is nothing to ride home about so don't be too concerned that it isn't on the beach, go north for beaches. The rooms were...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in mid-August. The hotel is very convenient for all the main attractions in Stone Town (5 mins walk from the Fort). Our room was wonderful, with a large (and tall) bed, a sitting area and a large bathroom. Breajfast is served on the top floor terrace and is very very good with...

I'm glad we chose this gorgeous boutique hotel - it was from recommendations of Trip Advisor reviewers and we weren't disappointed! The room was lovely and spacious with views over the roof tops. We had a suite, Room 5 which was away from the stairs and noise. All amenities are provided, a huge bathroom and very comfortable 4 poster bed...

We were welcomed with warm smiles and cold welcoming drinks and towels. It refreshed us a lot. Staff at reception are very helpful. Room is spacious, clean and well-equipped. Bathroom is big with all sorts of things you need too. Bed and pillows are comfortable and soft. You will get into sleep very easily in such comfy environment. Yet, our...

Totally love the hotel for its all aspect. Stone town has a lot of Muslim style hotels with delicate details. Pity that we only stayed one night and worth to stay longer. Very friendly stuff. Very central location and good for hang around in stone town.

This hotel was located in a great spot for walking and seeing Stonetown. It was a bit expensive I thought, but after staying there, I see why they charge so much. We were greeted with a cool drink and wet cloth. Our room was on the ground floor near reception so we did hear the phone ringing and noise form...

The Kisiwa House was recommended by our tour company, Africa 2000 Tours, and we were not disappointed. We loved the beautiful decor of the place and the rooms were very spacious. It offered all that we needed, including great food in the scenic restaurant and air conditioning. They arranged a walking tour of Stone Town, which was very informative and...
