Spent 2 days and 1 night in Stonetown at the cafe/B+B. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay (wish it could have been longer!). The coffee was exceptionally outstanding! We were centrally located between the beach, slave chambers and great restaurants and shopping. Our rooms were spacious, clean, extremely comfortable and most importantly air conditioned! Hot showers were a treat following 2 months... More

We did not stay here, but we did go twice for breakfast. Good value breakfast, with quick service and really nice coffee. Good spot to watch the world go by. My daughter loved the banana pancakes and the fresh juice.

The room was huge with a giant, comfy bed, a shower with great (hot) water pressure and a separate sitting area. What more could you want? The avocado on toast and banana milkshake were a tasty way to start the day.

I stayed at Stone Town Cafe and Bed and Breakfast for two nights and was really impressed. I had a large room on the second floor with a good hot shower, air conditioning, fan and beautiful carved Zanzibar bed. The staff were extremely friendly and approachable and they helped me to book transport for the next leg of my journey... More

we were in stone town a few years ago and stayed here for 3 nights, so we popped in to see the owner and have a chat and a cup of her fantastic coffee, tasted just the same, and she remembered us. Had a chat and a catch-up, great place to stay and meet up with people or just for... More

I booked this B&B based off other reviews and I'm so glad I did. We were a little nervous at first because it's sort of hidden off the road but this place is wonderful. Our room was really comfortable, large beds, mosquito nets, hot shower and the staff is really nice. We visited during Ramadan so their cafe was closed... More

A superb little oasis in the center of Stone Town. We had lunch under the palm trees, with relief from the sun and the heat. Food was excellent. I had beef with garlic butter and my wife had grilled tuna. Both were really excellent, much better than any other beef or tuna we had had during two weeks in Tanzania.... More

If you are looking to avoid the "hotel feel" Stonetown cafe the place to stay. The rooms are clean and very nice with good housekeeping. The food is great for all meals ad the morning coffee is delicious. You must try the avocado drink while there. The cafe is located within easy walking distance of many Stonetown attractions and shopping.... More
