Al Minar is a well run hotel in the heart of Stone Town. Santos was a great host as well as the staff. They offer a lovely rooftop breakfast in the morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a great place to stay in Stone Town.

The hotel has a good placement and nice rooms. The internet could be better but is was still better than most Zanzibar places. Cosy and rooftop breakfast but they could have told us that you also can order eggs.

Stayed at this hotel for one night in aug ´16. Have stayed in different hotels in stone town, and I would rate this in the middle. Good value. Rooms are OK, staff is attentive and the included breakfast is good. All in all, you get what you pay for, and a little more.

This is a wonderful little hotel and well worth a look into. The hotel is well presented, and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The room was generous and very comfortable including good WiFi. It is in a convenient location only slightly off a roadway, yet close to the waterfront and many eateries.
