We were 5 people and got 2 rooms. 1 triple one double. The A/C of double room was not working at all, they gave us another room immediately, that's a big issue in Zanzibar. Everyone is trying to make some money, they try every way to get your money. These people did not ask a penny. The location is pretty...

Abuse Inn is in a great location in Stone Town. It's an easy walk to the best sights. The hotel is small and rather classic. The rooms are of moderate size and clean. They come with mosquito nets which would be needed in wet season because the rooms have a lot of places for mosquitoes to enter. Our room had...

All the Stonetown tourist attractions are within walking distance and the staff is helpful should you need help with organizing the activities. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We had no hot water. Some maintenance work needs to be done in the bathroom. Breakfast was ok. The fresh fruit makes up for the not so fresh cereal....

Recommended by a friend and not disappointed. Clean with friendly staff in a quiet location. Felt like home and made our stay great. Very very helpful owner. Fabulous family run hotel. Highly recommended. A happy customer. Hopefully I will be back soon.

Abuso Inn is a Very Nice place to be. Once there, you feel like home. They help you on every need for reasonable prices. Plus the hotel is in a perfect position of the town. The rooms are clean and they serve the classic zanzibar breakfast (eggs, fruits, tea, etc). We already came back Twice and we will do it again.

This is an excellent place to stay while in Stone Town. It is nearby the sea, in a very central position. The quality is absolutely good. It is surrounded by many restaurants and pub, that you can choose every day a different one. I was alone, and with my family and always we were safe and good.

If you don't mind that the hotel is a bit old and needs good refreshment, it could be an option for 1-2 nights if you are staying in Stone town. The location is great, just minutes away from the main shopping street, forotani with street food, and africa hotel for a nice sunset. The staff is nice. The breakfast is...

Nestled among the higher-end Hyatt, DoubleTree, Tembo House and other hotels is Abuso Inn, an excellent value in an unbeatable location in Stone Town with all major attractions a short walk away. The rooms are large, airy and very nicely appointed, with air conditioning and fan, and some have a marvelous view of the Indian Ocean -- as does the...

We recently spent two nights at the Abuso Inn in Stone Town, Zanzibar. It was very affordable with clean, simple rooms. We had a sea view. Be careful in the bathroom since there is a step to accommodate the door. If is located next to the five star Hyatt and Serena hotels near the port beach but at a fraction...

Perfectly centered location in stone town. Rooftop terrace with view onto the sea for breakfast was awesome. Delicious breakfast as well. Clean rooms (except of the ants in the bath room) and unfortunately bad smell. Everything in the room smelled a little 'humid'. Mosquito nets could maybe need some cleaning. Staff was all very kind.

“Note that they don't accept credit cards and the banks in Zanzibar have a maximum limit of 200000TSH so plan ahead and bring cash. They do accept other currencies like USD or EUR.”

“A room in the front will have ocean and harbor views. The rooms are large and the air conditioning works well/ All rooms have windows that open and screens. The breakfast on the rooftop was scenic and tasty.”
