I enjoyed my stay in a beautiful suite, and a delicious breakfast. I appreciated a lot the food and the kindness of all people! I highly recommend this traditional style hotel few minutes walk from the main attractions in Stone Town!
Stayed for two nights to experience feel of historic site also at nighttime. Excellent and helpfull staff! Whatever we needed, there was a helpful hint. Nice and historic building in the middle of Stone Town.
Zanzibar Palace Hotel **** is one of the most interesting hotels in Stonetown which allows you to feel Middle Ages. Big and spacious rooms, ancient staircases, friendly staff and central location will make your stay unforgettable. Each room is different from another room. Price / quality is very reasonable. Stayed at the hotel in March and enjoyed it a lot!
We stayed for a couple nights at Zanzibar Palace Hotel during our East Africa visit recently. Daniela, the owner, was a wonderful host at this charming masterpiece in the heart of Stone Town. Minutes from the local markets, a splendid list of recommended activities which the hotel will arrange, and delicious food all a phone call away with their attentive staff. This is the kind of place that makes you remember you are in Africa, but then reminds you that Africa can be a luxurious experience. We were shown to a nice Arabic themed room, complete with a very comfortable and charismatic bed, well cleaned and air conditioned room that included a veranda overlooking the narrow and bustling streets of Stone Town. Our host was helpful in giving us a map and outlining suggested places to visit and tours that would satisfy our experience in our short time in this town. Daniela was one of the best hosts in the world that I've had, and no request was too big or small for her. They also arrange on site massage treatments that me and my girlfriend enjoyed so much that we booked 2 days in a row. Stone Town itself was our favorite city that we visited while on holiday. We went to Africa for safari and diving, but with our schedule we were glad to be able to squeeze in this charming area. The locals markets and in particular the slave monument and art installation was impressive to see. The citizens here are quick to smile and visit with you, should you just smile first and give a warm 'jambo!' If you ever find yourself considering visiting Stone Town, please stay with Daniela at Zanzibar Palace Hotel. She will make sure that you enjoy your stay to the fullest in one of her perfectly suited rooms to whatever your travel style. Thanks Daniela, we hope to see you again!…
We enjoyed our stay at Zanzibar Palace Hotel. Daniella, Jamila and the team were very helpful and nice. They were very happy to provide information about almost everything. The hotel is clean and the rooms are spacious and the location is great, just a few minutes walk from the seaside.
