This is an amazing, rustic safari lodge. The meals served are outstanding, with fresh ingredients, great choices, and incredible presentation. The staff is courteous and attentive. The individual cabins are really cool. Well appointed, with wood fired water heaters to service every two cabins. As in many African Safari camps, generated electricity is limited to certain times in the morning...

This lodge had a great atmosphere, such a friendly host. The food was excellent and the service was very good. The room is overlooking the lake and the lodge was comfortable. Well worth the visit. Give it a try.

Was fortunate to have stayed a night at this awesome place during a recent visit to Queen Elizabeth NP. It is located pretty far inside the forest, making it pretty secluded. It is located at the edge of a crater lake, which is where they derive all the water for the rooms. The staff are very friendly and they are...

This is a magical place. Everything about it was really well thought out and beautifully executed. The rooms were lovely, the food delicious, the service impeccable, and the facilities and activities first rate. We had a fantastic floating dinner with wonderful conversation. I can't wait to go back as it was an unforgettable experience.

I spent two nights at Jacana Safari Lodge in June in a cottage overlooking the lake. The setting was so peaceful, the accommodation very comfortable, with every little detail taken care of. The bathroom was luxurious with a great shower - other accommodation we stayed in in Uganda did not have good water pressure, hence not good showers. The restaurant/dining...

Jacana Lodge is in a great setting in the QENP on the edge of a lake in thick forest. The food is very good as is the service, however for the price a little longer use of the generator would help and what would really improve things is if the forst was cut ack in front of the rooms so...
